"Based on the substitution pattern, there appears to be a true competition at tight end with every player on the roster moving in with the different groups during portions of practice. There will be plenty to see from all of them during OTAs the next couple of weeks. Evan Engram even had a role on the punt protection unit."
The lockerroom "synergy" and 'togetherness' is key to NFL success. If you have 53 guys who really believe in each other and the team's goals of a SB; if there is CHARISMA and LEADERSHIP at the forefront, you have a shot at being GREAT.
Look at New England with Brady & Belicik - they walk in a room they own it.
I like what Eli Manning, J. Pugh, Brandon Marshall, O. Vernon, JPP, Snacks, Goodson (he was a leader at Clemson), L. Collins, D. Thompson (leader in college), J. Jenkins, etc., bring to this defense not just in terms of football ability but in terms of strong personalities.
OBJ does need to mature some and we all know that but he always plays hard.
What will stand out to me as the crowning jewel of Eli's era is another SB trophy.
If this kid was just a wee bit bigger I think he would be a great slot corner. He was such a good coverage corner in college, plays his heart out and tough as nails. I'm still optimistic he can help this team on the 53 at some point. He just needs to add a little bulk. Problem with him though is because of his size, he can't really contribute on Special Teams and really would only be a 3 or 4 corner and primarily in the slot.

Agreed if he was 3 inches taller he would have been drafted. I still think that he has a great shot of making the team as the 4th or 5th CB. He would be a solid nickel CB in time against the smaller WR's. You don't want him matching up against Alshon Jeffrey though.

Man you gotta love this guy. Diving for INT's in OTA's at 350 lbs. It's not like he's trying to impress for a roster spot either.
I'd love to see him in the backfield ala Dontari Poe or the Fridge, just for one TD plunge.
I just fantasized that snacks does just that during the closing minutes of a blowout nyg super bowl win. Hey I can dream.

I'd love to see this during the season!!! At least as a blocker at the FB on the goal line.
