The QB guru guy? I guess if your attempting a comeback theres no better guy, but he literally works with almost every college QB so it's not like this guy is a magician. A lot of guys he tutors amount to nothing in the NFL. And plus can he stop Manziel from scoring a rock to snort when he goes out on the town. I think that's the biggest issue w/ him.

Alcoholism is not a disqualification for a professional athletic career. The various HOF's have a few high-functioning and reformed alcoholics. Manziel is 24 years old, he's got time to get his life back together.

They share a trainer. Landry works with him too.

I wouldn't want the optics of being connected directly with trash like Manziel if I were him, especially at the expense of OTAs, but then again, I wouldn't want my tattoo artist posting pictures to the gram of me getting an ass tattoo either. His image choices are what they are.

OBJ should be at every single session ever, voluntary, schmoluntary.

The hyperbole over him "taking passes" from JM over EM is almost comical. When you are at a camp of your own choosing with other athletes working out together, well someone has to throw the football.

While JM is a human trainwreck, at one point the kid was pretty damn good at lobbing the spheroid object around.

This isn't OBJ choosing JM over EM, its him doing his own workout with his own crew and JM happening to be there lobbing the pigskin, and ODB is STILL coming up to NJ for "voluntary" workouts.

BTW anyone want to tell me how long each workout is allowed to go for.. welp that would be 6 hours a day, and its 7 on 7 and 11 on 11s allowed, with all the new guys on board how many "snaps" do you think ODB missed over day one and two... so he missed a total of 12 hours voluntary limited snaps in NJ to workout with other pro receivers running routes as long as he wanted and is heading there for the 3rd allowed session.

Yes I agree optics are not great, and Im not defending him, I think he does need to think about how things look sometimes, but this isn't like he is snorting blow off a tranny hookers ass with JM at a brothel in vegas while he isnt in NJ, the kid was "still" working out, and is still going to go join the team...

But he seems to be going down a path similar to a lot of great players whose career was sidelined by what happened off the field. Diva WRs don't tend to have long fruitful careers.

Also if he stumbles it give the media the ammunition it needs to go after him. Distractions are generally not good for teams trying to win it all.
