Cool Youtube video here of 10 sweet catches (well 9 catches and an "almost") by our superstar stud WR. Amazing that he's already put together a highlight reel like this and he's only 24 years old!
His numbers are completely insane. He already has over 4100 yards receiving and and 35 TDs and three seasons (and he missed a large portion of his rookie year)! Whatever he's doing, I hope he keeps it up!
Feel free to post any other great Beckham plays since this video only has ten of them. Personally, I like the catches vs NE and DAL.
Beckham Awesomeness - (

To your Skins
This is the most talented WR (maybe the most talented offensive player) we've ever seen wear this uniform.
And yet, the majority of the talk about him these days is all negative.

Yeah it's crazy. Some of that is Odell putting that on himself by putting himself in a position for these negative nancies to go after him, but it's crazy how much people kill this guy. He's the best offensive player I have ever seen wear this uniform and I don't think anyone is all that close to be honest. He's amazing.
Question for all of the "nothing to see here" folks, who are usually among the cuntiest whiners on the planet, would you prefer that he worked out with Eli and Co at Duke and attended OTAs or hang with Drake and UNC and Johnny Manziel? You get to choose one, what is your choice and why? I won't bother waiting for an answer because the usual group of idiots who band together to proclaim a divergent view point as stupid because it's not theirs will continue to crank their dicks in a circle and maintain the conviction that they know infinitely more than anyone else.
Saying you would prefer him doing other things is being disingenuous and quite frankly fucking stupid. I want him working with his team to win a championship every chance he gets. You guys are ok if he fucks off, there is actually room for multiple opinions and discussion instead of off hand dismissal by the usual crowd of fucking idiots here. But carry on making horrible jokes and useless points about a subject you know shit about to begin with.

Because people are stupid. without Beckham the offense is utter crap.. in fact there is no offense the last three years without him..
but he doesnt fit the mold of what " people " want.. The guy has made some mistakes.. yup.. he's what 23..
The boat thing was silly and shouldnt have happened.
The net thing was called frustration.. so what..
The Josh Norman thing was crazy.. but what happened the second time they met.. nothing...
He had a bad Green Bay game.. so did the whole offense..
He punched a hole in a wall.. So what.. Paul O Neill regularly destroyed water coolers and other things and people LOVED him..
if he blows off mandatory mini camp.. then thats an issue..

The negativity toward him completely baffles me. The amount of big plays this guy has made for us in such a short period is time is incredible.
It's like some people think they are owed something from him off the field in addition to the elite performance he's given NYG fans on the field.
I might be wrong but I think Strahan missed most of a training camp one year and went on to have a great season. Do people really think that missing a day or two of OTAs in May is going to have an effect on the upcoming season?
Not every player is going to live their lives the way people want them to. It's just something people need to come to terms with.
As long as he keeps doing these things on Sundays, I'm not losing sleep over the rest.
To think, he'd have a couple PR TDs too if not for some holds (real holds, but IIRC weren't responsible for springing him).
Hope he stays in blue forever.
We should all keep in mind that kids read these posts. Is the language necessary?
How many posts have you made referencing the Dolan twins? 12-15?

It's not stupid to suggest trading him. The time to do it would be now before we pay him twenty million a year and make him untradeable.
Right now he has trade value that might be greater than Herschel Walker. It would be the epitome of selling high on an asset, and would protect the Giants from Beckham possibly being devalued by injury, his own stupidity, or otherwise.

Great, great post.
It's so boring to read posts like yours with the same recycled garbage as every one that came before it. Wake me up when Beckham stops prepping for the season or skips mandatory camp.

Awesome post.
These days, the majority of the board shuns that opinion and anybody who dares to have it.
Just weird that people get annoyed that fans want their star player to show up for organized team activities and practices.
He is NOT a prima donna, a druggie or a malcontent..He's a personality in a twitter world of personalities..He PRODUCES WHEN IT MATTERS. Give it a rest already..And before one says it, many stars have had fucked up playoff games..
Truly nothing to see here..There must be other things OF IMPORT to discuss..Sheesh
while the optics are terrible that he is spotted with numbnuts like manziel and kardashian instead of at voluntary workouts, I am confident he will be ready to roll when the season begins.
He is legitimately great. If he does not improve at all, he is still on a hall of fame trajectory. What he does on and off the field does not and will not work for all players, and the same is true for all the greats.
I just wish he'd come to more team activities. Our offense needs a lot of work and I wish he'd join them while they are putting the work in.
LT routinely slept through team meetings and left practice early because he had a tee time. So long as you produce at the highest levels, what difference does it make?

For me its the great lengths people go to disprove his desire/effort/worth/etc. The constant expectation of doing what a fan wants otherwise the player doesn't care is mind boggling to me.
I completely get why people want him there, we all would like to see him there, but if he isn't missing anything mandatory I won't pretend to act like I know what's best for him/the Giants.

It's pitch and catch with no formality..Does ANYONE think that OBJ's rapport with Eli won't be 100% when they play for real?
Would I rather OBJ came to practice with his team-mates -- Yes - no question but that I would
Would I like to see OBJ not be a Giant -- no way Jose! It's because the kid is such a phenomenal talent that folks are bending over to accept what he's doing -- I understand it -- but I also question the hysteria opposed to it -- the people Pat Leonard is feeding
No one here is hysterical over OV not being at OTA's -- no one
The kid is a lightening rod -- but he's also a playa -- let's hope he continues to produce for the Giants -- the thought of him, Marshall and Engram on the field at the same time is truly exciting - that's what I'm focused on

Asking so much that he work with his teammates to improve? The hyperbole around here when anyone is critical of a player who clearly has his head up his rear end is once again absurd. There is a legitimate reason to be with your teammates, at Duke and at OTAs and he has chosen to ignore both. I don't like it, I don't want him traded, that's illogical and stupid just like it is to completely ignore this pattern of me first behavior from a me first player.

{not sure if serious}
Point well made Joey. Everyone knows you're right. We all would rather he be here.
Having said that - it's his life and he gets to live it. I'm hoping that the 40 yr old version of himself doesn't feel like he wasted good time chasing tail and such when he was in his prime.

I so completely agree. It's fucking madness. People look for reasons to get on him.
I don't think we're going to get through his entire rookie deal, options, etc. He'll want the big contract before then.
I don't think we're going to get through his entire rookie deal, options, etc. He'll want the big contract before then.
Well, if we go that route we might as well trade Eli too, cause we ain't winning shit without OBJ....so no need to keep paying Eli $20M+ per for his final few years.
And as for not winning anything without him, I don't know about that. Marshall, Shepard, and Engram is still a pretty talented group.
I don't think the Giants will trade him, but I'd be surprised if behind closed doors Reese and McAdoo aren't a little bit tired of his shit. Reese makes comments about him and his maturity in January, and he responds to those comments by missing OTAs...that's not about him opting instead to be around Johnny Manziel or some chick with a huge ass. Reese is his boss.
So trading OBJ is taking away our chance at a Super Bowl over the next couple of years. No amount of #1 picks in the future is worth that to me. Our chance to win is now....and trading away the guy is who is far and away our best player snd the key to our whole offense is not the way to go.
oops. I left out, "Dude, what took you so long?"
No trade: Odell Beckham
or
Trade: 3 or 4 premium picks over the next 2 or 3 drafts + ~$20 million in cap space per year over the next 3 or 4 seasons
As we approach the post-Eli Manning era I think the second scenario better positions this team for sustained success in the long term.
If he had the right scouts and coaches to turn premium draft picks into pro-bowl players we would always be loaded with young talent. It would be hard saying goodbye to them frequently though.
I seriously wish I could visit an alternate reality to see just how well he would do. I'm not willing to say he'd couldn't win.
