NFT: Bose Revolve+ Bluetooth Speaker

pjcas18 : 5/24/2017 3:58 pm
Does anyone have one?

I listened to it an airport kiosk and holy crap I was blown away by the quality and volume, but sometimes the in-store experience is different than the home experience.

I own a UE Mega Boom and a JBL Extreme, I like to use the speakers outside near the pool, camping trips, and sometimes inside at parties/etc.

I like the JBL and UE but feel like both can be upgraded and for a while it seemed like Bose quality had slipped (across the board), I think with the revolve+ they regained it.

any opinions?

The one on the right in this cnet picture is the plus. cnet has good reviews and lists it as their highest rated bluetooth speaker, but I no longer really trust cnet.

not interested in a wired system at this time.

No opinion here but I've grown to trust Wirecutter reviews. CNET has experienced one of the most disappointing drop offs in user experience that I can remember.

Yes - CNET used to be pretty good but I just ignore links to their site now.
Agree on cnet

the best thing about their site are the pros and cons in the product reviews - those usually have things like short battery life or heavy device, etc. and I like their comparison features. stuff that is factual, not opinion.

I pay very little attention to their editor ratings, but I do like their customer ratings and comments.
