It's all over the tabloids, Page Six link below.
Not sure how to feel about this.
I'd rather he was at OTAs, but if he's not, I gotta figure bowling with Iggy Azalea is a lot more wholesome than almost anything he'd be doing off-the-field with Manziel.

but what the hell is an Iggy Azalea?
All i can picture is this, but I'm sure it's not who it is. At least I don't think Beckham is hanging around with Ziggy.
Somebody help pjcas18 out and post a pic of Iggy Azalea... rear view...please
gracias. I don't get it, why would people be mad about Beckham hanging out with her?
And I'm sure some will want to criticize him for the way he wipes as well.

Fat Bottomed Girls released in 1978.
It's our Permanent Revolution I guess.

But hey, a 20 something who parties on a boat, gets ass tattoos, bowls with a skanky rapper and plays catch with Johnny Manziel must have his priorities all out of whack, right?
Yes, he does have them out of whack.
There are only 10 OTA days and he is missing three this week. How many times do you think Jerry Rice or Larry Fitzgerald missed practices that were not mandatory?
OBJ is an amazing talent and the best WR we have had ever. Unfortunately his head is not 100% into this and I do not see him having a LONG successful career.
FFS...because he missed a few OTA, now he's not taking his job seriously? Every report coming out of practices states that OBJ is a freaking workhorse when it comes to preparing for the game. You make it sound like he's Jeff George or something.
And as far as him having a long successful career, if his first three years is any indication, I doubt you'll be proven right in your dumb (as usual) thinking. Barring injury, he'll go down as one of the best receivers to play the game in the modern era.
So you know what his priorities are?? Love it.

The Schnoz... it's all about the schnoz... Iggy doesn;t have a hideous schnoz like Parker.
but I think there are legitimate questions about his judgement and ability to say no to external influences, and whether he learned anything from the playoffs last season, when he was partying in Miami the weekend before a playoff game, and then crapped the frozen tundra bed of lambeau field. although the duke workout was voluntary and these organized team activities are voluntary, they are opportunities to bond and workout with teammates. instead of working out and practicing with his teammates he is hanging out with the likes of trainwreck johnny manziel and celebrities in LA. he needs to know that in this social media/phones everywhere world, optics matter and the optics of him skipping out on team activities while having fun in LA is not going to be pleasant when he returns to face the NY media. combined with reports of him skipping out on signing engagements that he committed to, I think he needs some better managers/handlers who keep him focused on football and limiting external influence

Then you need glasses.
Who said he should be there? You? Has ownership said that? Any of the coaches? Or just the mouth breathers that have no clue how to get their own affairs in order in their own lives, yet feel compelled to tell everyone else where and when they should be doing something?
You have to be mature beyond your years and Odell obviously isn't. He is like a normal young dude rather than a professional in the way he handles himself.
Norman getting into his head is part of that immaturity.
Of course, all the media buzz is also what landed Odell the big contract from Nike. So it cuts both ways
"If they don't have a story these days they'll make one..." I might get that tatted😂😂 #StayTheCourse
All the other hand wringing and absolution over the big mouth don't matter, there is a bottom line that no one wants to address for fear of looking like an old codger who might not be in touch. Yes or no, would you like him in NJ working with his team? The answer is yes for every single one of you, and you fucking know it. Now carry on with trying to be the cool dad or whatever you dim bulbs are trying to do.
If he doesn't mature and help lead us to a playoff win all while being cool with Eli spreading the ball more now with Marshall who won't just let Eli target him twice a game like Cruz and rightfully so.
Anyway if Obj doesn't mature and has another playoff stinker this year ... I would shop him and see if a Hershel Walker deal exists.. otherwise I make him a contract offer and just hope he's worth the money
Over voluntarily seeing Snacks in the shower. Nut job!

Do you think a handful of half-speed practices in shells in May mean much of anything?
Then why do they have them?
To teach new players the schemes. If they were so important, they'd be mandatory.
So you're saying that OBJ should be at OTAs to compete for his roster spot?
Well on the one hand he dropped some balls in OTAs. On the other hand, he's had by far the most productive beginning to his career of any receiver in league history. So \_(ツ)_/
For young guys learning the offense or bubble players fighting tooth and nail to make the roster, yes.. it's important that they're there.
For a player who has already proven to be elite, knows the offense, and has a roster spot locked down? Not so much.

Pretty sure the Giants don't need to see Beckham in OTA's to determine anything about his roster spot....

Please.. he had a bad playoff game which nullifies everything else.
HE NEEDS TO BE THERE!!!!!

I'm not one of the people who has voiced an opinion on Beckham either way but I think you've built a pretty nice straw man.
Not one person on here said given the choice they wouldn't prefer him at OTA's. Of course they would. Everyone would also like him working out with Eli at Duke and any other opportunity during the off-season to spend time together abd build a better rapport.
that being said I think most reasonable people understand a 4th year WR, in generally the same playbook as the past couple years missing OTA's is not something to get worked up about. Rookies, new additions to the team, etc. will fall behind, but I'm pretty confident while I'd prefer Beckham attend (as would almost everyone else on here) I'm not going go sweat him missing it.
On a side note, this is all the doing of the NFLPA. They are the worst union/association in sports for many reasons, their athletes are the most underpaid (based on career longevity) and most susceptible to long-term injury yet they dig their heels in on stuff like limiting the number of training camp practices and making team activities voluntary. They need to get their priorities straight as a union.
Are the demands of the QB in the offense a bit more involved than the demands of a WR?
versus this
And you all are questioning his judgment.
I'm past blaming Beckham. Assholes are going to be assholes. If the Giants choose to pay an asshole 10% of their salary cap that's on them.
Coincidentally, in return she also offers V.D.
But since we now know that OTA's don't help established players in anyway,I guess it doesn't matter.Beckham also has that worth ethic which can't be challenged. After all,he told us himself, and that trumps blowing off the entire off season to hang out with Iggy,Johnny, and Dopey.
