really with poor command again today early.

I saw one pitch. Lowrie laced it for a double. It was snake-eyes down the middle.
8 K's.
He has also given up not one but 2 hits to Lowrie.
Scrub.

Batting .315. Just be quiet when you are wrong.

Quiet implies volume. I think you mean silent. Since I was expressing sarcasm I don't believe i'll remain silent.
Judge with a solid AB and then gets picked off attempting a steal.
I'm surprised Joe lets him run as often as he is.
to the weekend!

The only question is, which one is going to make a mistake first?

Always loved Manaea. Sucks he is showing off tonight.
Where is Torreyes?
average inches drop on splitter in 2017 : 0.89
That average is going to change for 2017 after tonight. It be droppin.
Still, the pitching from both guys are putting on a show and I don't mean to take away from their games. I just notice a lot of strikes that are fairly questionable. The kind of ump that pitchers love and hitters hate.
So El Gary would DH (I would hope) on days Tanaka starts
Sanchez need to hit everyday even if that is at DH. You don't hit like he did last year riding the bench because a Pitcher needs his own personal catcher.
Please Cashman trade Romine.
...and a hook shot.
DAMMIT HEADLEY.
Maybe I can find it on YouTube in a few days. Sucks!
2 down.
As is not PHing for Chase Headley with 2 on and 1 out in the seventh inning of a tie game
What game are you watching?
Why is Romine still in the game?
Shouldn't go to a 6 man rotation because of 1 guy. Look at Tanaka's career stats as a Yankee...I think he has been fine.
Hoping for a comeback but geez these guys are playing to lose.
good Holder is in to really put the game out of reach.
Oh, and yet another RP loss in the books.
Clippard has been really good this season. He just shit the bed tonight with the error and walking a .180 hitter with 2 outs to face their best hitter.
Less a matter of killing Clip and more about a poor managerial decision
I'm done with Headley. Fuck off.
What are you babbling about now, Dummy?
Did Severino have Tommy John?
Holy shit.
How did you know Chase gives out more gift baskets than any other Yankee?
I think because it was an FC. The fielder elected to throw out Tanaka's runner and so he is responsible for his 'replacement'. IDK, sounds kinda dumb.

loss? The man he put on was thrown out at the plate - ends his night. Any additional runners were on Clippard.

Very dumb. Official scorer is allowed to "alter" guidelines and award a win or loss to the person most responsible for that win or loss. No way on God's green earth should Tanaka get the loss. That was totally on Clippard.
Wtf? You hope it's "out of the way"? Wow. Apparently you don't realize that just because a player has it done once doesn't mean he's immune from having it again? And the second time is often a career ender. But yeah, let's hope that pesky first one is out of the way!

No, this isn't even moderately true.
Go back and check Tanaka's last several starts- the start before this one was also on 6 days rest- and he was blown out in 2 and 1/3 IP. So no- 6 days rest is not some "magic" solution for Tanaka.
It is a myth that began with a lazy article written by a NY Post reporter who was obviously told that Japanese SP pitch every 6th day- and somehow extrapolated that since Tanaka has a partially told UCL that he should pitch every 6th day because "that is what his arm is used to."
It was a dumb and poorly thought idea that should never have made it past the Sports editors desk, but since it did, the gullible here continue to trot it out every time Tanaka has a good start on 6 days rest- who also conveniently ignore when Tanaka gets blown out on 6 says rest.

Or we are guaranteed a loss R/Ped
That throw was unreal. Wow. From his knees, a laser right on target
