Yeah, that would be my take as well. 8 plates per side @ 45lbs each = 720lbs + a 45lb bar.
Not sure what the point of that is

Why wouldn't you just do squats
Bet his wife is happy with the results

questions like that make it seem you don't get the sense of a lot of exercise, nor do it.

Because strength in your lower abs and hips allows you to maneuver your feet under the cen5er of your body so that every time your weight shifts, your legs and feet catch up generating more power. Its about staying centered. The majority of the power you create in virtually any athletic movement (yes, even the jump shot and pass) is created from your abs, hips and legs. I dont know if hip pressing 700+ is necessary to be optimal in this regard, but I have always noticed that Harrison's lower body strength was just supernatural against bigger opponents.

The key weakness this creates is in his change of direction. Muscles that strong to not flip easily.
I've read
PaulBlakeTSU : 5/28/2017 7:47 am : link
There is no better single exercise for maximizing contraction in your glutes than barbell glute bridges which is why he is doing this over squatting (which I'm sure he did as well and often)
Hip thrusters are great

More fun watching women do them than Harrison but they are Greer no idea how the fuck they get the weight on it off him .
