Roberto's is my favorite spot in that area, but I don't believe they're open for lunch. Zero Otto Nove shares the same owners, and they do serve lunch.

My go to restaurant is actually around the corner on 187St opposite the Church of Mt Carmel
Tra Da Noi has some of the best Italian food anywhere and the Chief / Owner used to be Sophia Loren's personal chef so I think that's the only endorsement anyone should need
The menu is limited as is the seating so I would call for reservations if you plan on going on the weekend ,,
The food is impeccably fresh and moderately price and I guarantee you will get a quality meal for a fraction of what Roberto's would cost
It's small and not over the top fancy but the food is impeccably fresh, wonderful service and has a very cozy " old time vibe "
You can expect a great meal at a reasonable price point and BTW their house made lemon ricotta cheesecake is really outstanding
