Hear a replay of "Late Hits" a show with Gil Brandt this morning. They said Joe Pisarcik was retiring as NFL Alumni President. That he did a great job in that role. Personally, I had no idea but good for him. Glad to see that he was able to make some positive contributions to the sport after retirement.
Then, they referenced George Martin as the prior president and that he was a "fraud". Basically doing nothing at all for the alumni. Those are strong words. Gil's co-host said it and Gil agreed. Does anyone have any insight into this? Possibly was discussed here at length at some point but I have been out of the loop.
No kidding.
Was Alex Marvez the co-host? There's another guy who doesn't have a bad thing to say about many people.
Way too easy.

I dont think you understand the context. Somehow, the topic of Joe Pisarcik came up and that he was retiring. They said how he did a great job with the alumni position. The comment about George Martin was just a throw in at the end of the Pisarcik discussion. The conversation did not start with George Martin.... it just ended there.
