Eli's dagger throw

Wide receiver Brandon Marshall made the best play of minicamp during an 11-on-11 red-zone drill on Wednesday. Marshall made a one-handed touchdown catch on a back-shoulder fade from Eli Manning while keeping his feet in bounds. It was a glimpse into the type of red-zone threat the 6-foot-4, 230-pound Marshall can be for the offense. Blake was in coverage again and, like many opposing corners will find this season, there wasn't much he could have done.

This is also Marshall's bread and butter play. Having this backside of Odell and Engram up the middle, combined with the best defense in the league. We are going to be a handful.
Interesting that

Power football

The Giants spent a lot of time working on goal-line situations on Wednesday, which meant there were more reps for fullbacks. Undrafted free agent Shane Smith got a lot of work with the first-team offense. Like many positions, fullbacks can't be evaluated until the pads come on in training camp.

The second-team offense used a huge lineup at the goal line with three tight ends Matt LaCosse, Will Tye and Colin Thompson joined by fullback Jacob Huesman and running back Orleans Darkwa. LaCosse continues to impress as a receiver.
Yes - I was waiting to hear about FB too...

good to hear that Smith is getting some reps in, even if it isn't with the pads on.
