I record and watch PTI everyday and have done so for years. I like Wilbon and Kornheiser and PTI is the only ESPN programming that I consistently watch (other than 30 for 30). I sometimes will watch Around the Horn and I watched the Sports Reporters on Sunday mornings for years. Anyway with all the changes at ESPN and all the folks they let go...it is mind boggling to me that they kept this annoying, nerdy, Michael Smith.
He is a no talent hack that must have dirty pictures of ESPN executive family members. They stole the tagline "best 60 minutes of your day from Mike and Mike... who used something similar to describe time spent with former ESPN NFL analyst Chris Carter during football Monday's.
I don't understand the thinking behind putting this show hosted by Smith and Jemele Hill for the prime time sportscenter at 6:00pm... The ratings have to be far worse than they have ever been for that time slot.
Rant over.
Same, and it's not from some stubborn "F ESPN!" attitude. It's simply not a quality product anymore.

ESPN anymore. Just when certain games are on...

Yeah. They don't put on anything I really care to watch anymore...
I canceled my cable long ago since it's a shame to pay losers like that their salaries.
Because they are hoping for something put in its place that is worth watching?
Have you ever once complained about anything related to the Giants?
Sportscenter used to be awesome TV with the highlights, all about sports. Now it's some sort of Bullshit program about culture and nonsense featuring two absolute bores.

I doubt people were watching what was there before and the suits said, "Fuck it, let's put these 2 there instead." Maybe their ratings are terrible, but I'm fairly certain what they replaced had terrible ratings too.
Highlights are available literally everywhere on the internet. Does anyone really care what John Clayton has to say?
