Still, in the two years since being diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, an incurable disease in which the lungs harden and patients become increasingly short of breath, Marcin has been wrapped in a level of support to take his breath away. |

It is a horrid disease, and I had a friend who died of it.
There are market approved "treatments", but the best they do by and large is slow the progression. Let's hope that others in the clinic will prove
more effective.
