Cessa (5.40 era) vs Cotton (3-7 5.52 era).
Post lineups
Yanks need to add SP. Rumor has it that the Cards might put Lynn on the block. He would demand less than others like Gray, Quintanna or others
He is pitching well, is 5-3 and has a 2.69 era over 13 games. Im sure Holliday would love to have him. Cards have a bunch of young arms ready to come up. They could use young bats which we have in spades.
Judge is so fuckin good. And takes second on the throw.
So Holliday and Castro follow with crappy at bats...
It seems inevitable that they guess wrong. Just an awful decision to go out an talk about it.
And yes Green is getting squeezed by the ump, especially since he's been giving Cotton several high changeups nowhere near strikes...
It'd be one thing if this was against some good teams. But we're talking the Angels and A's here.
Have to say, while I still have a good amount of hope for this season; this road-trip has certainly tempered my expectations for this season alittle bit. Oh yeah, and fuck Tanaka.
I like Green as the number 5. Good fastball. Decent slider and change. He could stick if they give him some rope.
The thought of Garcia in the AL East scares the hell out of me. No thanks
Ugh.
Can't get home fast enough.
Could be onto something
Also I fell asleep but the game warren wasn't available and we lost Sanchez and hicks at the same time was a punch in the gut as well.
1 week ago today we were on such a high from destroying the O's
- Sabathia got hurt, which drained the pen.
- Warren got hurt, forcing them to rely on kids.
- Monty, Pineda, and Tanaka just didn't pitch well.
- Hicks and Sanchez get hurt, which shortened the lineup.
Thankfully Chap looked good, so they can skip Clippard altogether in certain situations until he gets himself back on track.
