Going to a concert on Saturday at Jones Beach. I've never been and I'm rarely ever on long island so i have no idea where would be a good spot to go on friday before the show probably from like 4-7 or so. Any cool spots to go to drink and grab a bite to eat in that area?

in theory, this is the best option..
BUT, unless Jones Beach changed their policy, there is no drinking in the parking lot.. kind of lame.

I haven't been to a show there in 3 years, but last I was there the parking lot was swarming with undercovers busting people for drinking.
in the 90s, it was never a problem.
All-American and tailgate is the way to go.
they're both under new management. only the seafood one is currently open.
Great show as well, only complaint was I had no idea high tide would actually flood the pit area and had to stand in soaking wet socks. I didnt even think of that or I would have worn flip flops.
