Darkwa is not going to make it over Vereen, Jarron Jones is also an offensive linemen now so he won't be the 4th DT.

Brett Jones is essentially a lock and will make it over either Gettis or Halapio. I am intrigued by Halapio as he can play T and G but he has an uphill climb to make the team.

Cutting a lot of these guys would result in nearly doubling the current cap space

I agree in retrospect I should've ditched Gettis for Ellison, especially since he would negatively impact the cap if released

Curtis Grant is a free agent they brought in this offseason, came out of Ohio State in 2015. I think he's simply added depth at the MLB position, we seem inclined to pass the torch on to BJ Goodson. Behind him things are kind of iffy and while I like Munson...Grant just has more experience in the league for now... I probably wouldn't mind replacing him with the DE/DT Jordan Williams.

In terms of Jarron Jones I don't put a ton of stock in them moving him around to see if he can fit multiple positions. To me that would be an indication that they like him a lot but he needs to be really versatile to make the final 53 because a lot of great players will be released. We need him more at DT because of the depth issue, but if they did carry only 8 OL it would be nice to know in the back of your head that the kid can play both sides.

Because you have to replace those players and even at rookie vet min it's $450k off each of those cap numbers. And they all won't be rookie vet min players.

There is no replacing them its a roster cut down from 90 to 53... there are 53 players left with no room for these "replacements" you speak of?

Believe we keep three QB's Manning, Webb... Vareen over Darkwa... Rhett will be our FB... Think Michael Hunter makes team as 4th cb....

All UDFA prospects will end up on the practice squad because, with only one late cut, other teams will not be signing anyone else to their 53, except for a few God awful teams.
