While I'm laughing at Anak's thread, I'm thinking back to some of the funniest threads that have popped up here over the years.
I've been posting here for like 11 years now (which is insane to me, I don't know where the hell time goes) but I know BBI existed long before that.
The bavarofan thread was, bar-none, the funniest thread that has come up in my time here. I think most people here are familiar with it. If not, I'm sure someone can give a better re-cap than me. Incredible thread, though.
I vaguely remember a thread that I think involved Dave in DC somehow and some asian woman who people started photoshopping into all types of photos. I can't remember what the premise of the thread was but the pictures that came out of it were hilarious.
The mac attack case-race thread was pretty funny, too. We really thought the guy might have died but he returned a few months later.
The Anthony Davis thread.. was not supposed to be funny, but became a 1000+ post thread where hilarity ensued at junk's faux-insider expense.
There are countless ones. Those are just off the top of my head.

He was legit too. I met him at Giants Eagles in 2011.
I saw him in the stadium parking lot dragging the Eagle as well.
I think that was the thread where he challenged me to prove I had nicer cars than him or something similar.
Not really a "thread" per-se.. but bossman was one of the hardest posters for me to figure out. I really could never tell if it was an act or not. He's been back a few times with different handles since and always gives it away with the weird haiku-style.
The Jamaicans, right?
I remember him. He was one of the angriest posters ever. He was like when Joey gets all charged up but he was like that ALWAYS. And he only posted on Nets/Knicks threads. Definitely a weird guy.

Through some magical error, Go Terps posted simply "I see my name all over this thread.." like 15 times in a row, and the thread deteriorated into people posting that same line over and over.

It wasn't Dave's girlfriend. Some other guy posted the pics because he somehow thought his girlfriend was hot, and Dave just ran with it and started posting her pictures all the time.
That's how I remember it anyway. Dave was a strange bird. He was normal for the longest time, albeit with a rather cruel sense of humor, and then one day he just became an enormous asshole.
Also - yeah, Flounder still posts here. Giants in 07. He's on Rangers threads pretty regularly.
Also, Anak's shirtless blogs were a hoot
- My favorite was the T-Bone thread, especially when everyone was guessing who the characters were. Just re-read it a few weeks ago and forgot all about SOTI.
- JoeMP threatening to fight at the corner of 51st and Park
- Matt in Syracuse projecting 6000 yards and 70 TD's for Kerry Collins
- There was another car thread where the guy posted pictures of his "bitchin ride" and caught all sorts of shit. Think it was Adam G in Big D or something like that
- The original Thomas thread about softball leagues where he admitted threaten to take several BBI'ers out at home plate
- The epic thread where MiS eventually lost his shit. Someone has to know the tagline about saying a name or something.
I think it started with drinks with T-Bone and then he left and as they were driving me to my hotel, we saw a place with neon beer lights on it and stopped in and spent the next 4 hours there.
Posted lots of pictures of himself, too. And usually not with any real reason to. More like, "Look at this picture of me."

When I had connections to the athletic training staff at Ithaca College, things got really weird, because he basically was kicked out as a professor for a couple of transgressions.

I would agree with Tommer, Hash, and no Jewlez jus regular... but this one falls short of the tater tot cannon thread from a few years before that. Not even sure if anyone remembers it... Guldang funniest thread I ever soar.

There used to be pictures on some of the threads. I think he was crazy - really. IIRC he did this in Philly at Eagles home games also. It was a stuffed eagle (not a real one) and he had a rope around it's neck and he would drag it around on the ground. I think he put a big black "X" with a magic marker over both of it's eyes. Crazy bastard : ).
I know it wasn't exactly funny, more annoying than anything else, but the posting of the Long Cat caused quite a few reactions.
We had a very strange but widespread emotional investment in epic thread.
