What I hated most about that game was our blitzes were a waste of F$&KING personnel!! Not one blitz was successful, thank G-D we have upgraded personnel and turned around that atrocious defense.
The catalyst in this whole BS w Odell. Every play he was pushing him, laying on top of him for too long etc. Odell should of let it alone but Norman is a punk.
body slam. It wasn't really violent, but it deserved an unnecessary roughness call -- or, at a minimum, an in-your-face warning from the ref. It was predictable that things would escalate from there, though I think Odell would have been wise to back off. Norman, the jerk, did a great job of "playing" him.
If what happened between Odell & Norman was such an abomination
and an affront to mankind, why does the NFL Network continuously show this game? A bad Giants team came back, but LOST to an undefeated Carolina team late in the year. There's nothing else particularly noteworthy about that game.
It's odd that they chastise the behavior, then try to make a few bucks off of it.

not justifying what Odell ultimately did ... but, having played the sport, if a defender continuously acted like Norman did to me at some point I would "lose it" too. it was ridiculous what he got away with after the whistle.
it was a disgraceful performance by the officials. they let it escalate.

Exactly my thoughts
it was a disgraceful performance by the officials. they let it escalate.
