Somehow I lost a folder in my Outlook 2010 that I need. Can't seem to find it anywhere. I know how to search for individual emails, but not for folders. Anyone have an idea how to resolve? Thanks...
maybe check your deleted mail box and see if the folder is in there. Also just check in other folders, sometimes may not realize you drag a folder into another folder.
the size limit for Outlook 2010 is something like 50GB I'd be surprised if you had 50GB of email and a random folder was deleted because of it, but sounds like Montanta experienced something similar, so maybe google it and see if it's a known issue.

It caps out around 40K emails for me pj. I tended to use my email for project and biz storage because I could access it from anywhere with anything until this happened
If you don't archive your emails (which you should for just this type of emergencies), the file sizes of you attachments will eat a ton of storage space. I had on guy who never deleted any project emails and attachments with close to 55 GB. All the large PDF, PowerPoint and ArcGIS files just never cleaned up.
Key I tell my end users, keep all the emails but remove and save ALL your email attachments in a folder on your hard drive. Outlook will run real smooth too without all that clutter.
