Full trade: Hamonic and a 4th in either 19 or 20 to CGY for a 2018 1st, 2018 2nd and either a 2019 or 202 2nd. #Isles

What about a trade for Kovalchuk using a pick that they just obtained for Hamonic? Kovalchuk wants to play in NY and he would be much cheaper than Duchene.

I personally do not see that as their direction. Maybe I'm way wrong.

I know it's highly unlikely but it does make sense for both sides. I just want to get something for him at this point even if it's a 2nd round pick.
