White Sox left-hander Jose Quintana (4-8, 4.69 ERA) is slated to make his 16th start of the season. The 28-year-old has a 2-2 record with a 4.35 ERA in four career starts against the Yankees but has yet to oppose them this season. Quintana has struggled this season since inheriting the role of staff ace from left-hander Chris Sale. He is averaging 3.3 walks per nine innings, which is the worst mark of his career. However, he has improved recently with a 2-1 record and 2.25 ERA in his past four outings. Yankees right-hander Luis Severino (5-3, 3.30 ERA) is set to make his 15th start of the season. During three career starts against the White Sox, he is 1-2 with a 5.40 ERA. Severino will look to bounce back from his worst outing of the year. He allowed six runs (five earned) in six innings his last time out against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. The ugly performance was out of character for the talented 23-year-old, who has 24 walks and 95 strikeouts in 87 1/3 innings. |
No Wade which is disappointing a bit.
Wonder if the Yanks might be in on Quintana at some point before the deadline. Plenty of teams are looking at him I'd assume.

Judge is on a pace to be the first rookie to lead the AL in walks since some guy I never heard of in 1909.

Abreu would cost more than Moustakas.
Right mitch3000?
Acevedo lowered his ERA to 1.34 with Trenton in his six starts, but ended up with the no-decision in the 3-2 loss to Richmond. He went seven innings, and allowed just four hits, no earned runs, with nine strikeouts. Acevedo now has 40 strikeouts in 40.1 innings with the Thunder.

OK. So now you're passing off written quotes from NJ.com as your own and not bothering to cite them in your posts on BBI?
This is all from an article from Sean Miller about the Trenton Thunder.
You're either a complete fucking idiot. Or a complete fucking idiot.
More fun farm facts that you STOLE from this article and didn't bother citing the author? Well done.

You're joking right? You cut and pasted an article written by a journalist, didn't bother to cite it and passed it off at yours.
Now that you've been called out, you're hiding? You're Fucking pathetic.
Or is it just mind altering rage from substances in your circulation?
