New Hope, Pennsylvania (CNN)Investigators are painstakingly excavating the 12.5-foot-deep grave that contained the body of a missing man and other human remains on Thursday, Bucks County District Attorney Matthew Weintraub said.
The body, discovered Wednesday on a sprawling property in suburban Philadelphia, was identified as Dean Finocchiaro, 19. Additional human remains were found inside the grave but haven't been identified, Weintraub said. |
I didn't see this posted anywhere. Weird, likely awful story.

There's some speculation this could be related to other crimes including a brutal beating at Temple.

Very interesting about the Temple beating. What's the context?

He was arrested months ago for having a gun, when he was not allowed since he had mental issues. They dropped the charges last month but re-instituted again 2 days ago so they could re-arrest him.

DA has been trying to remain by the book but has been giving enough in his press conferences for people to connect the dots. They had some good info up front - it's a 90 acre farm and they found the grave and the bodies over 12 feet down and have used a number of tactics to keep their main "person of interest" in custody.

"This guy Billy Riddle attacked a random person (walking by) at a Temple house party and got could be convicted due to eye witness accounts and video. One or more of the the 4 guys who went missing were the ones who were at the party and were ratting out Billy Riddle. Cosmo DiNardo owed Billy Riddle a large sum of money and Riddle agreed to clear DiNardo's debt if he tortured and killed the snitches."

They keep saying "participation" in the murders. Definitely sounds like at least one more person will be implicated. In return for taking off the death penalty I'm sure he'll have to roll over on anyone involved.
Reading through that Reddit thread this seems like one major clusterfuck, and apparently there are other murders that could possibly tie in as well.
From the AP:
....
The person with firsthand knowledge of DiNardo's confession said the men were killed after DiNardo felt cheated or threatened during three drug transactions. DiNardo sold quarter-pound quantities of marijuana for several thousand dollars and sold handguns to area residents, the person said.
Then there's this:

....
About an hour later, a trash truck driver pulling into the station saw something burning in the lot.
He took out a fire extinguisher to douse the flames. That's when he noticed it was a man's burning body.
Then there are some mentions in that Reddit thread that there are other bodies on the premises that the cops haven't announced pending completion of their investigation.
This is one seriously f'd up twisted case.
3 qp's at $1200 gets you to several thousand. Which I'm betting was the value.
