Sky is the limit for LC.
After OBJ, he's the number 1 signing

priority in two years. I don't care if Flowers improves exponentially this year. Even next year when contracts come up, we need to keep him in mind for the year following.
That

was excellent. Thanks. The narrator is knowledgeable and well spoken.
Very good video and commentary thanks!

The coverage play he makes from the deep safety position against the Bears at about the 1:48 mark was awesome. Great range
Great find

He really is a baaad mother fu[beep]ker
I saw the potential in Collins when I got to see him play in Buffalo
beatrixkiddo : 7/13/2017 3:14 pm : link
live his rookie year, I knew all he needed was to just shed a few pounds and get real playing experience. I only hope he continues to progress as a player as he can truly be one if not thee best Safeties in the game. Really hope they Lock him and OBJ up long term, both are the cornerstones to build this teams future Offense and Defense around.
Can this guy play at that 2016 level
Jimmy Googs : 7/13/2017 3:37 pm : link
each year now going forward?

He was simply fabulous, making impact plays all over the field and all season long.

Scary good...
Collins could cement himself as the #1 S this year
annexOPR : 7/13/2017 3:42 pm : link
it sure would be awesome if that young safety with off field troubles they took a chance on panned out ...

what was his name again? I thought he had a fairly high ceiling/potential ...
Wow.
Beezer : 7/13/2017 4:26 pm : link
That was terrific.
By the way, how many times after a pick
Jimmy Googs : 7/13/2017 4:47 pm : link
are other Giant defenders going to run in the way of or bump into Collins as he tries to return it?

Geez, the get hell out of the way and find somneone to block...

I noticed that, too. Espeially Casillas. Idiots.

Great video, though.

d'oh!
The video compares his

rookie season to 2016, putting most of the reason for his improved performance on his weight loss. Didn't he play mostly free safety and not strong safety as a rookie in 2015? Switching to strong safety in year 2 has to be a big factor.

A lot of factors all at once.

Better players around him, a year of coaching, athletic improvement, and perhaps a shift in responsibilities.
Dude is a beast.
SFGFNCGiantsFan : 7/13/2017 7:13 pm : link
He's going to be a great one.

Opening Day vs Cowboys 2015 defense over 40% in snap count:

Collins, Unga, Prince, Meriweather, Kennard, DRC, Ayers, Hankins, Jenkins, McBride, Selvie, Kuhn.
Nice analysis...

As others have mentioned, its not just loosing the weight, but that certainly helped. The important point here is that LC got a whole lot better - not just from his rookie year - but also throughout the season last year.

Bottom line, LC is freaking stud! Thanks for posting.
