priority in two years. I don't care if Flowers improves exponentially this year. Even next year when contracts come up, we need to keep him in mind for the year following.
live his rookie year, I knew all he needed was to just shed a few pounds and get real playing experience. I only hope he continues to progress as a player as he can truly be one if not thee best Safeties in the game. Really hope they Lock him and OBJ up long term, both are the cornerstones to build this teams future Offense and Defense around.
rookie season to 2016, putting most of the reason for his improved performance on his weight loss. Didn't he play mostly free safety and not strong safety as a rookie in 2015? Switching to strong safety in year 2 has to be a big factor.

A lot of factors all at once.
Better players around him, a year of coaching, athletic improvement, and perhaps a shift in responsibilities.
As others have mentioned, its not just loosing the weight, but that certainly helped. The important point here is that LC got a whole lot better - not just from his rookie year - but also throughout the season last year.
Bottom line, LC is freaking stud! Thanks for posting.
He was simply fabulous, making impact plays all over the field and all season long.
Scary good...
what was his name again? I thought he had a fairly high ceiling/potential ...
Geez, the get hell out of the way and find somneone to block...

I noticed that, too. Espeially Casillas. Idiots.
Great video, though.
