It makes NO sense to continue to play a 34 yr old Jose Reyes
everyday instead of this kid.
Let him take his lumps now
I believe most fan bases feel Law hates their favorite team. The truth is that Law is the best in the media at what he does.
which I absolutely can't stand in media personalities.

He used to be way worse. the most snark I see from him now is when Mets fans question him about Tebow. It's become comical because fans are 100% (I hope) trolling him.
He used to just be a giant douche to everyone, now most innocuous questions are met with what seem like genuine replies, snarkiness is reserved for when it's warranted at least on twitter.
I hate the fact his content is behind a pay wall, and I hate that ESPN still has a pay wall, I refuse to pay for content like that even if I respect Law's opinions.

He sure is but I still value his opinion over any other prospect analyst.
19 year old CF Ronald Acuna was just promoted to AAA this morning and he just hit a homerun in his first game in AAA just as he did earlier in the season in his first game in AA. This kid is going to be a superstar.
1) Rosario
2) Torres
23) Dom Smith
Devers, Robles and Jimenez round out the top 5.
My wife & I have great seats. Section 12, E 1 & 2. This is where the scouts are. Great for watching the Matz, Thor, Degrom, Montero kids growing up.
I continue to be underwhelmed by Rosario. Understand that I want him to be a superstar, but, so far, I just don't see it.
IMHO, as a former SS meself, his fielding is below average/average. Jose Rondon of the El Paso/Sand Diego team is a slick Ozzie kind of SS who cannot hit. Seeing Rondon & Rosario on the same field was laughable that night.
Rondon does not double clutch...Rosario does.
Rondon's transfer is so smooth, so fast...Rosario's is not.
Rondon's arm is a cannon...Rosario's is OK and thankfully D. Smith bails him out all the time.
Rondon as a double guy is so good. I can't say about Rosario as the horrible pitching of the 51's this year does not induce many DP balls...at least in the games I'v seen.
We were there for July 4 game. Guy goes 1st to third on ball hit to CF...Rosario receives a good cutoff throw, whirls and fires a short hop throw to 3rd that eats up the third baseman. This was from 150 ish feet.
Later in game, a soft line drive to Rosario's glove side head high...he makes the latest reaction to catch it. I was flabbergasted. I mean I am almost 69 years old and I am damn sure I would have reacted faster than he did.
On to hitting, well I think his hitting is more advanced than his fielding at this point. Is it enough to play MLB...not sure of that either.
To balance this, I saw Nolan Aranado play at Cashman and it was obvious at first glance that he was a major leaguer, both in the field and at bat.
I really like Dom Smith progression this year even though he has packed on weight since the beginning of the season; but, he has also played much better. He can really field. I don't think he is six foot tall, which is something else as a first baseman, target-wise.
As to the Mets bringing him up, I say do it now, not September. A cup of coffee NOW may be beneficial to Amed...maybe he is a little bored at AAA. I really want him to succeed.
