No Frazier to start the second half smh
Tonight's @Yankees lineup vs. BOS:
Gardner 7
Sanchez 2
Judge 9
Holliday DH
Didi 6
Cooper 3
Ellsbury 8
Headley 5
Torreyes 4
P: Montgomery
on two lucky infield singles. Fuck
weeks, my confidence level is not exactly pointing upwards, here.
is not nearly good enough to fuck up like he has tonight in the field.
Why the fuck is he positioned like that? Playing him halfway makes no sense. Either play back or play all the way in
ball hasn't left the infield and these jackasses have a horse shoe up their ass
He has no command and he isn't getting swings and misses anymore
This contract already looks brutal
Walks in the winning run. Fucking joke
DIdnt leave the infield wtf did I just watch!
to give up a 9th inning lead every time these days.
Chapman fucked his own ass and Torres was a nightmare in the field. Another horrific loss. Great job assholes.
What a brutal fucking loss. Goddamnit
Infield single, infield single (really an error), an error, IBB, and a walk...
and the guy has no idea where the ball is going and can't throw a slider. Fuck off
he is taking the money and running. He won a WS and is just collecting money on the yankees now. His mind is not into the game.
No one is swinging through his stuff any more...and the command is give...
Gardy dropped one, and we didn't run our best lineup out there.
Just pure misery night after night. You keep figuring it will turn around at some point but it doesn't. The back end of the pen is like rolling yge dice at this point. Man the wheels have come off yhe wagon.
They had 16 all of last season.
These guys fucking suck.
he threw all fast balls and had no control

Maybe after this weekend, sell off continues. We're relying on the young guys to hit without good enough pitching.
He had sucked cack.
23 pitches, 11 strikes, maybe 2 swing and misses? That's fuckin pathetic. Horrific stuff from Chapman.
a more hittable 100+mph fastball. I think he had one swing and miss all inning in 25 pitches. It's incredibly alarming
Ellsbury needs to get Sandoval'd. Frazier, Gardner, Hicks and Judge should be the OF group when Hicks gets healthy.
When the fuck is Hicks coming back? Jesus Christ.
Not joking, today was a combination of bad luck, bad fielding, and lack of command.

Tells you something about AL pressure compared to the NL.
Frankly, he can't be counted on in tight games in this League. IMHO, he just wasn't worth the money. Find someone else (along with real, reliable pitching help overall -- a festering shortcoming of the Yankees stratergy).
Either the SP'S get us down 5-0 or the backend guys blow it or both. I love Joe but in this stretch his lineup decisions continue to boggle the mind. Truthfully in a bunch of these games we've blown its allowing baserunners in the 7th and 8th that have killed us. We let teams turn over the order and get their best hitters up in the 9th.
nailed it...............this last month has been absolutely mind numbing in the way they've blown games.
Frazier should play until Hicks is back. Enough.
That contract looks frightening right now.
He's the one vet, I hope they don't trade. All the rest should be available.
Makes you appreciate the Mariano years. Now, we're just another team crossing our fingers in the 9th with a lead.
Chances are Severino won't out duel Sale tomorrow and they'll manage to split Sunday losing 3 of 4 up there and leave 5.5 out...

Batting 7th, I'm not sure why he was in the lineup. He's fragile.
was a pure "binder" move. Gardner and Ellsbury have solid/good numbers coming into the game versus Pomeranz. I would've started Frazier myself at one of those spots.
What a terrible loss. How many of these can we take??????????
...back end rotation.
Yanks quickly spinning into out of space.
In 2017. Whether it's a starting pitcher getting rocked early in the game or the bullpen blowing a lead late, it's either one or the other lately.
Chapman almost singe handidly won the WS for the Cubs Even without his command, ball doesnt get out of the infield Infielders blow two routine pkays and now he sucks Pitchers go through slumps too Look at Betances That doesnt mean these two arent really, really good
Left handed rookies usually sit against left handed starters That's the way it is It will be surprising if Frazier plays against Sale

There he is. Doesn't show up unless the Yankees shit the bed. Like clockwork.
And homerjones - Frazier is a righty. Why wouldn't he bat against Sale? Your post makes no sense.

Don't confuse speed with good baserunning. Gardner is fast, but has never been more than an average base stealer.

And don't confuse base stealing with base running. He is one of the best base runners in the majors.

I had left field on the brain. You are right, the post makes no sense and neither did leaving Frazier out of the lineup last night.

My thinking as well. The starting rotation is another story unfortunately.
Their insistence on playing the utterly useless Ellsbury is insane. Plus Red Thunder was hot coming into the break.
