Castro is enemy number 1 for a couple of posters on here for some strange reason, but it sure is nice having his bat back in the lineup. Hopefully his hammy is ok though, he didn't look too good running there on that double.
Looks to have full command of the mound out there and isn't intimidated in the least bit. I love the no BS approach too. If you can hit my 98 mph heat then go right ahead
being out of the lineup simply to get another right handed batter in there. And it's Toe - not some big dangerous hitter. Plus, Didi does ok vs lefties.

Sometimes I think Binders over-binders.
This. You can't convince me that Torreyes has a better chance of getting on base against Sale than Didi does. And Didi is also a very good SS. And another thing, sometimes it helps a hitter going through a slump to face the same handed pitcher as it forces them to try to stay in there and go the other way. But Joe has decided he needs to play Torreyes every day for some reason. I love Joe and don't want to sound to harsh on him, but he has done some weird things this year for sure
I was frustrated before. Sevy was getting squeezed and this has been a hideous month and two days of Yankee baseball. I still think Headley is part of the problem relative to other years when the Yanks had quality veterans they could add to at the deadline.

Haha, it's all good Phil. No need to apologize. We are all frustrated and youvare absolutely correct about Headley. He literally brings nothing to the table
Gardy, and Eillsbury that are so unusual for the Yanks over the past 23 years or so. For so long we had the core 4, then still had ARod, Tex and others. Hoilliday is the only veteran hitter who has any shot at the HOF of these current vets, and we usually have more.
Castro is our 2b going foward. Didi is our SS and Torres will be our 3b book it!!!
Toe sure shot himself in the foot last night. Glad Castro is back.
And yes Headley is virtually the last remaining black hole in the lineup (unless Ellsbury is playing).
Not much discipline, swings early and often in the count, but still valuable when he's hitting .325
?? want to take that one back?
Still want to take it back?
Had no play at 1st and was smart to throw behind Betts as he rounded and fell down.

Same thing earlier in the year. They scored 4 runs in the 8th, I think, to win. Tanaka ???

better be perennial all stars. Otherwise the Sox absolutely stole Chris Sale
Sale's club options for the next two years are at $12.5M and $13.5M. That's about 40% of his market value
Ugh that's such a bargain, and Moncada is striking out a ton this season at AAA. Looking like a great deal for Boston.
At least Sevy threw well today
Meanwhile they wanted Judge and Sanchez before the deadline last year and Judge and Frazier in the offseason.
More
Yankees are only team in MLB that hasnt been shut out this season.
*At Fenway.
Castro with a infield single, Ells in to pinch run.
Runner in scoring position, no outs.
