I'd look at a few of them.

Especially Trent Cole. He seems to always play well at Giants stadium :/
I wonder what Clady has left

Clady is a mess.. Oft injured and did not play well last year at all.

Would be good vs,he at this point. Defiantly a solid back up, could be a solid starter. Would def give good competition in camp.
They all come with baggage.....
Doomster : 7/16/2017 10:22 am : link
Mostly age and prior injuries......
Surprised they haven't brought back Hall (yet).
jogo1 : 7/16/2017 11:25 am : link
He's good veteran depth and made some plays last year.
Hall is another year older.....
Doomster : 7/16/2017 11:31 am : link
He ran with the ball a couple of times, and I thought he was going to die......
Seems like..
jnoble : 7/16/2017 11:31 am : link
..most of them are ex Jets lol
Something tells me Mangold
ZGiants98 : 7/16/2017 12:04 pm : link
Would still offer more as a backup C than Jones would.
A lot of those guys are over-priced has beens.
Red Dog : 7/16/2017 12:51 pm : link
Aaron Williams is a career-ending injury, and possible major life-altering injury waiting to happen. He should retire.
Verner seems to have earned a big check and lost interest.

The curse of Tampa Pay - er, Bay.
Some vets(smart or well off financially)

Can wait. Injuries happen. It's a game for both sides. Cap dollars are finite Side it would be nice to have a Ryan Clady in. I think Bith Tackles will be better but insurance w a veteran would be great. But when they are willing to wait for injures which do Coke their price tag now is too high.

All smart GMs now wait and pray no injuries hit and the guys they do ha w make it moot that they are out there
Some nice depth
old man : 7/16/2017 3:39 pm : link
there.
OL, DT, maybe LB.
Flowers would be
BigBlueDownTheShore : 7/16/2017 6:18 pm : link
Great for some depth at CB. He's not a starter, but could fill in if needed and play in dime packages.
The only interesting name
BigBlueWhale : 7/16/2017 6:45 pm : link
is Orr.

25 year old All Pro MLB. Was a priority re-sign for BAL, retires due to neck condition, they subsequently don't tender him, he un-retires and gets declared an UFA. Crazy stuff.

Reportedly "heavy interest" around the league.
I wonder

How well Revis would look if switched over to FS
Was that list in the OP

Another guy who was done last year. He's a name. That's all he is at this point.

These guys are on the street for a reason. Funny how that story from a few months back that the Giants were close to signing Mangold and planned on starting him at guard never materialized. It was a bullshit story. Probably leaked from his agent.

Mangold can't stay on the field anymore.

I was thinking the same thing. We really don't know what we have at FS this year.

We always seem to add a Veteran during training camp that helps in some regard. These guys will find homes when someone gets hurt. They have some value. Don't forget about Deon Grant. Not a great player, but a good role player and leader.

Is Abdul-Quddus hurt or something? I thought he was impressive in DET in 2015 - I didn't see as much of him in MIA last year, but it looks like he had a pretty solid year for them.

Seriously.
...
annexOPR : 7/17/2017 12:58 pm : link
this "talent" is still available for a reason. they are recognizable names, that's it.

Orr would be a nice gamble, or Pasztor for depth ...
A lot of these guys,
Doomster : 7/17/2017 5:26 pm : link
get signed after the first game so their salaries are not guaranteed for the season...
