And I think Headcase gets that and has a play at home. Fuckin hell.
What makes her qualified to call MLB?
Women's softball?
Well done ESPN.
When Hicks comes back something will happen
Agree, and I don't think they will. Although when Hicks gets back, it will be a little crowded out there.
Bats are silent tonight. Last chance to get to Price.
Unreal.
He didn't miss Bradley made a ridiculous catch
Tip of the cap to Price. Looked like the Price of the early days on the Rays..
To anyone on that team I do not.
.0001%
yup ... oh, well, a split it is.
Good to get a split on the road. Especially when your best player was struggling.
Not mad at all. No ground lost. Nothing gained.
Perhaps they can win in Minneapolis and Seattle.
This. I think in a lot of ways we steadied the ship a little bit this weekend. Take away the horrific luck in the 9th inning Friday (2 sawed off inf hits and an error) The Bullpen was on another planet this weekend. Judge didn't hit a lick, besides the huge HR yesterday Holliday did nothing, and we managed a split. Hopefully the offense get going in Minny a park we've always hit well in.

Why is Headley even pinch hitting for Torreyes it makes no sense both plays are not doing squat offensively
Yankees are facing Colon Tuesday night lol.

And meanwhile Choi was available to PH there. Listen the guy isn't Lou Gherig, but he has a way better chance to run into a Kimbrel FB than our worst everyday guy by far not to mention if we miraculously tie it, Choi would come in any way because they hit Gardy for Cooper. I've said it a lot this weekend, I love Joe but as bad as the team has been for a month Joe has been that bad himself with his mind boggling lineups and in game decisions at times.
I get the argument that "he's all they have right now", but the guy regularly hits in the 2/5 holes which is just inexcusable.
This isn't me trying to blame the media for the Yankees tough slide or anything g like that, because the problems clearly go much deeper than Headley. I just find it odd that the guy is so clearly mis-used and nobody seems to have anything to say about it.
Is Headley just THAT nice of a guy to the beats that they won't touch him?
And agree about Choi. Let him get up there and try for a shot to RF.
The nonstop Headley bashing is tiresome. He's a slightly below avg 3rd baseman. Yanks will upgrade the position when they can. Outside oe batting Headley down in the order, something the Yanks have done for a good chunk of the season, there's little that can be done. Stop the presses, the Yanks have a below average hitter in the lineup. The horror.
This isn't a good reason place a guy in the 2-hole (or 5-hole) who has an OPS just over .700 in his almost 2k at-bats as a NYY. It isn't a good reason to do it one time, but doing it pretty consistently over the course of about 6 weeks is mind-numbing.
There would be a lot less complaining about Headley if his usage was appropriate. It's less about Headley than it is about Girardi at this point.
Whatever. You can't really hide bat hitters anyway. Best way to hide Headley is to replace him. If the kid didn't get hurt he'd be up by now. Bad luck.
Zero times in the 9 spot.
You wanna get on Giradi have at it. I just don't get too worked up over lineups like others do.
