My favorite Woody Allen movie. His anguished yet murdering doctor was a brilliant turn.

Loved him in Rounders. RIP.
Some actors are so good

that they don't get any credit. They portray their characters so well and comfortably the audience just think they are playing themselves.
Only if they gain celebrity and people recognise a persona different from the screen (John Philip Hoffman or Meryl Streep) do their real talents come to the fore.
On the other hand, another underappreciated talent like Martin is Jon Lithgow (comedy and drama).

Well, he did win an Oscar and was nominated twice more.
Very sad...

Mission Impossible and Space 1999 rank high among some of my favorite shows of my youth. :(

an actor. As a child, I remembered him as Captain Koenig from "Space: 1999," but was so much more than that with all his other roles. RIP. God bless.

Enjoyed his work in Space 1999, and thought he was terrific in Crimes and Misdemeanors. But Martin Landau was amazing as Bela Legoisi in Ed Wood. A great one has passed.
Great scene from Rounders
