What kind of personnel packages will we likely see this year

With the addition of Ellison, Engram and Marshall, it seems like McAdoo (or Sullivan) can get real creative with the personnel. What do you expect to see?

that would signify the return of the long lost run game.

i think with the receivers here they could come out in the I-form but with 3 wide and 0 tight end. if they can establish some run game it be a deadly set. Beckham and Marshall out wide with Shepard or even Engram in the slot. That would cause matchup problems. ideally this would force the defense to respect the run game with a FB in front (directly or offset) of Perkins while spreading out the D a bit. With engram in the slot you can always audible him back inline as well.

unlikely to see it but it would be a good sign

shotgun. empty backfield. beckham and marshall split wide, shep in the slot. Engram and Adams as tight ends on both sides of the line.

Mac has a system of short passes and will stick to it. We will run the same schemes.

Didn't we generally run out of the Single Back 3 wide set

last year? I suspect we see Beckham, Marshall, and Sheppard as the WRs with Perkins/Vereen in the backfield and Engram lined up.

I'd like to see more i-form this year if we have a fullback or at atleast more 2 WR / 2 TE sets.

I think you'll see a lot of the first set though, single back either under center or in shot gun, with the top 3 WRs and a TE + RB.

I hope so. Keep the best 3 WRs on the field. Ellison will be the prototypical TE, when Engram comes in, it will technically be 12, but Engram will really be a 3rd WR. It's gonna be great. The O line is going to be able to make holes and pass protect, so all the wideouts and other skill position players can make plays. All of the WRs will keep the safeties deep, and risk eI said, the O line will be able to make some holes, then the safeties come up, and WHAM!!!
Keep rocking the 11 and just switch out the pieces.
