He's been better than Robertson this year. It's a shame because we could really use him back next year. He's one of the best setup men in baseball who can legit close whenever asked.

I was holding out hope the Mets would come out hot and do some damage before the deadline but it just didn't happen. We needed to be where the Cardinals are right now... battling back to .500. Instead, we came out ice cold. Oh well. Too many disappointments this year to count.

We'll be back next year. Let's see what we can get.

I think the Yankees got hosed in that deal. Frazier is awful and they already have two closers. Are the Yankees winning the WS this year? Do they have the starting pitching? If not it's a terrible deal.

They most likely didn't want to trade one of their top prospects for him after they traded several for Eaton. They made a great move by acquiring Doolittle and Madson for that price. I don't think Washington is done adding to the bullpen. I dislike helping a division rival but I would be very happy with a Jaime Garcia and Arodys Vizcaino for Carter Kieboom trade. I am not sure how realistic that is but I am sure Dan has a better idea.
