Ellsbury is going to be public enemy #1 around here when Hicks gets back and they send down Frazier. I'm getting angry just thinking about it.

Headley and Ellsbury need to go if we are trying to make the playoffs. I'm not saying we should but I don't see us getting in with them stealing ABs from potentially productive hitters. I also think both are no longer worth talking about in the field.

I've actually been relatively supportive of him here, as I don't think he's a bum - but I don't think he's a real first baseman on a playoff team either. As for Ellsbury - the contract is the problem as we all know. On the merits he'd be the one to go once Hicks is back.

to see how they break this current OF logjam by the deadline or this offseason. From what we've seen, Judge and Frazier should absolutely man the corner spots by the start of next season at the latest.

They haven't done that yet. I doubt they send Frazier anywhere other than higher in the batting order.

They simply cannot play Ellsbury, Headley, and Holliday together at this point. The first 2 are awful and Holliday has done literally nothing outside of the Kimbrel HR.

I know it's tough to handle vets in these spots, but Clint has to play.

Cashman said today Frazier is the odd man out when Hicks is back. Ellsbury isn't going anywhere. Red Thunder back to oblivion despite clearly making Ellsbury his bitch.

Where Headley and Ellsbury are batting provides a lot of information (IMO) about where they stand with these vets with 2018 contracts. Headley, who I like and Ellsbury might not be on the team in 10 days or may be reduced to pinch hitters.
I can't remember the last Yankee I hated as much as Ellsbury
