i reluctantly put on boomer and carton..carton is bad enough but when that slob Christie is on I can't change that channel fast enough!!! I really cannot comprehend Y that clown is given any air time!
Unless the yanks/Giants are on. I'll go to ESPN or Sirius if I want sports. Putting that slob on has made me refuse to listen to the station. carton, boomer and evan all just fellate him while he's in studio. It's a joke.
The angry tweets, social media posts, threads like this...it's all free advertising for them.
The station knows he stirs the pot and gets people fired up. I don't think they would hand the keys over to a nice, but opposite personality of a Steve Somers (the only host I've called into).
when he fills in for Boomer or Carton. I hop they stink because the show is a joke when he's on (moreso than it is already). Less sports and more idiots calling in to tell him he's fat/stupid/an asshole, etc. Its bad radio but if they see the ratings they like, he'll be the pick.
Really want Kim Jones to get a shot at it. She's such a good listen, works well with anyone she's paired with, and adds a really great perspective that we don't normally get in sports radio.
Multiply Mike in Montclair by 1000. I listen to FAN for SPORTS, not politics or hard news, and especially not to hear everyone from NJ with an axe to grind to call and gripe to that fat fuck, Jerry Jones ball-gargling Cowboy fan.
can you imagine:
1) mornings Boomer - JETS, Mets, Jets, Carton - Mets, Jets, Mets
2) midday -Bro the Jets, Evan, the Jets, oh the Mets, Oh the Nets, oh the Jets
3) drive time - nothing but Cowboys
I think John Sterling would be great if he wants to retire from the travel and long season grind. I enjoyed him on the few shows he did over Christmas. Also like Max Kellerman. It would be nice to have an unabashed GIants fan on that station for a change.
I'd actually be eager to get in my car and go for a drive to listen. Kellerman can be a blowhard when it comes to boxing, be Kim would counter balance that out. You need a little bit of crazy on the radio, I think Kellerman can pull it off.
Chris Christie to me is one of the most obnoxious entities that I've observed in a long time... add in that he's a pitiful politician! I feel bad for New Jersey! The guy even makes carton tolerable & that sez a lot! I try not too make fun of people's appearances but that pic of him in a softball uniform was too freaking hilarious!! The clown just epitomizes a fat glutton & I hope one day wfan wakes up and restores some dignity to their station by ridding themselves of that ass! Figures he's a cowboys fan! Thank u for this old guy vent
I don't mind Christie because I love the morning show and Carton
I think they make a very good team. That being said, Kim Jones is the best. She's not great solo, but with partner like Malusis, they make a really strong team. I'm pulling for them to get the afternoon slot. I'd be fine with Evan with Kim as well.
I know many of you get up in arms about the Mets/Jets talk, but it doesn't bother me. I listen for entertainment and come to BBI for analysis. If they go Mets/Jets too often, then I just change the station.
Francesa is still OK, but he's really wasting time until football and now there's no Sunday football show. And can't wait for CBS to pick some hack like Brandon Tierney to replace him on Sundays.
The rest of the day ranges from the atrocious to the mediocre.
Apparently there are enough people that differ from opinions on here.
Christie is so obnoxiously anti Yankee and anti Giant. I don't care if he is a Cowboys fan, but he can't be hired full time if he is gonna be a snarky, sarcastic ass whenever the Yankees or Giants are brought up.
If he gets hired, I'll give him a chance but if he acts like he has so far towards the Yankees and Giants I won't be able to stomach it for long.
I agree about Kellerman. I loved his ESPN radio show. He's crazy Giants and Yankees fan, he bleeds NY, he connects with a lot of different sort of people, he's super smart...would love him back on NY radio.
Putting Evan in that slot without a strong Giants/Yankees complement would be painful. I don't think I could take it.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought WFAN was a Giants station
... I'll be listening to Christie the next morning making every excuse in the book.
If anyone really wants to hear a guy who has the pulse of the Giants in New York, listen to Dave Rothenberg on ESPN Radio during evening drive-time. Easily the best.
Christie can get on the air and talk about his Cowboys and take shots at the Giants and Jets. There is a built in contentious relationship between him and the listeners and the phones will be ringing off the hook. Personally, I will never listen to that know-nothing blow-hard if they hire him.

I'll be done with FAN if they do it.

maybe he can play RT

Now they have an 800 pound disgraced Governor COWBOYS fan on? hahahahahahhahaha
this is why people are switching to podcasts
celestial radio is on its death-knell.

Would he be controversial enough for some of you?
Would he be controversial enough for some of you?
No. It's a shame al-Baghdadi died.
