Does anyone think there is a chance that the Giants first team offense might come out in preseason games and actually look good? I can't remember the last time, if there ever was a time in the past 13 years, when the Giants first team offense looked good in the preseason.
I know it doesn't matter a whole lot, but it would be nice to see them blocking, running the ball, completing passes, you know, running an offense. In those back to back 6-10 seasons they looked, in the preseason, like they would be a 6-10 team. There are more expectations for this year's offense than there has been in a while, it would be nice to see them warm it up in the preseason.
It wouldnt be the end of the world if they came out and looked disjointed, but it would of course be better to see them hitting on all cylinders.
But I would like them to run 'basic' plays and look good doing it, however, leaving the more imaginative plays for regular season.
2. 1st team offenses/defenses look decent.
3. Watch Webb in the 4th quarter.
this is all I want from preseason. they could go 0-4 - it's irrelevant.
