LOL worthy.
Can it get any worse for the Mets? Cespedes says Melvin is by far the best manager he ever played for and that he hopes to play with and retire with the A's eventually.
Oh yeah... there's a game on.

Yoenis Cespedes tells The Chronicle he wants to finish career with A's; "I love Oakland all the time."
Cespedes has a full no-trade in his contract, but the Mets now have a good idea for which team he might waive that provision.
He left his heart in ...
Amed Rosario is absent from the Las Vegas starting lineup for a fourth straight game. He bruised a finger earlier this week.
It's really weird how he'd want to play there
Could be but when the news broke they made a huge deal about it on SNY. Basically said, he threw Terry under the bus and made a huge mistake.
I think in the very least it was poor taste.
He doesnt have to say he wants to play there and retire there and he "loves Oakland all the time". I hate Terry but you seriously think it wasn't poor taste to say Melvin is the best manager he ever played for??
I also dont care where he gave the interview. He's in NY talking to them. Of course its going to get out everywhere.
Putting all that aside the spirit of this thread was supposed to be funny in a "Oh Mets" way. Im not out to drag him through the coals over it anymore. More just stupid/funny.
It was just really stupid.
He's having an awful year and now he's spouting off about how he wants to play for Oakland again?
It's really not cool.
And Tery is taking Reed out in the 8th after giving up a single? lol
Yoenis Cespedes said through an interpreter that his comments to the Chronicle were taken out of context.
How special
