Building towards something bigger. Very impressed. Coach's philosophy matches the team's identity. This program is improving with an American coach.

While Dempsey was great, I still go with Tim Howard as the best player on the field. He's two steps ahead of everyone, including his teammates. The guy just reads the game amazingly well.

best games in a long while. Only two defensive breakdowns, iirc, but much stronger than usual.

Nagbe has to become a bit more selfish and shoot.

Not sure I like Zusi in the game any more. He doesn't seem to add anything. Not a fan of Besler, either.

I still cannot get used to seeing an active Josey Altidore. So used to him milling about the box only. I love it. Morris needs to see more regular playing time. He does put pressure on the defense.

lapses. Nagbe just keeps getting better and the Acosta/Bradley combo is starting to look more comfortable. Clearly defined roles are starting to emerge somewhat naturally.

Defense was slow but none of them are in the starting back four.

I was talking to a buddy. I wouldn't mind seeing Morris as a winger. Fast, doesn't stop. Good vision.

Dempsey did a great job exploiting a terrible wall on the free kick. His ability to go both posts there kept the goalie from favoring the near post. His turn and through ball to Jozy was pretty. That's why I think he's more effective as a sub in the 60th minute.

US vs Mexico final should be fun.

The only hiccup bessler had happened to be when the commentators were talking about him and he passed it out for a corner. He seemed formidable and made some nice runs going up. Should be taken as backup outside back.
