I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere in the Midwest and there are just no f'ing sports on tonight. I'm watching CFL football - Toronto vs Ottawa. And the score is 10-1.
I'd rather watch them than most of the NFL games these days.
The CFL has different rules. It is a much more wide-open game that results in more close finishes and action right down to the wire. And it doesn't suffer from much of the bullshit, posturing, over-commercialization, and outright stupidity that has infected the NFL.

I'm glad the Yankees got a night off because they deserve it after their recent good performance. But NY needs the Yankees to be good until the football season starts or there will be literally nothing going on here until mid September.
Agree with red dog, more enetertaining and to my mind underrated. games are fun to watch and game scores can change on a dime. BTW a single point can occur because of a missed field goal or a punt that remains in the end zone.
