what have you found to be the best for removing pine pitch from your car: nail polish remover, gas, paint thinner...? I just know someone on this site has a neat trick. TIA
I am not sure if it may potentially have any detrimental impacts to car paint so you may want to try it in an inconspicuous place to start. That being said, Goo Gone is AMAZING for other sticky substances, such as cheap stickers on the bottom of new drinking glasses. I love Goo Gone. Michaels is one place that I know sells it but I imagine you can find it in plenty of other places as well. Good luck!
I would hesitate using such harsh chemicals like goo gone and wd40 as they will strip your clear coat.
Cheap easy option is Meguiar's Quik Detailer/Clay bar kit. Probably less than 10 bucks. If you have to wet sand, make sure you watch some youtube videos so you dont permanently damage your paint.
Clay Bar detailing is another option.
