Looking to bring my eight year old nephew to training camp this upcoming week. He's looking to get autographs in the designated area for kids. What time is ideal for us to get there to be sure he can get into that area? Do the players mainly do autographs after practice? Before?
Thanks for the help in advance!
the first 400 kids under 12 that sign in are given a wrist band to enter the autograph area after practice
hard to say what time to get there - it depends on how many people show up with their kids -- but I would plan on being there at least a half hour early during the week -- maybe more
will be long. When they open the gates and you get inside, head all the way to the other side where the Kids Zone is. You'll see a table in the back where the kids register and get a wristband. You have to get it first thing because they will run out eventually. Then you can enjoy practice, eat some food, etc for awhile. About 30 min before practice ends, you'll need to get in line for the autographs back where the wristband table is. It's a long wait, especially if it's hot because you are directly in the sun but it's worth it. The Giants do a great job managing it and the access to the players is awesome. They usually start coming over a few minutes after coach breaks practice.
