youngsters improve. DT Jay Bromley is in a contract season; he has a chance to start; he has played some and knows this defense and its scheme. If he is an IMPROVEMENT over HANKINS who really was NOT very good last year on a very good defense well we BENEFIT immensely. Especially if DT Robert Thomas is only a quarter-step behind him because he is a big body (Snacks back-up perhaps?); knows the defense as he was here last year; and, is also a young guy growing.
Bottom Line: if DT Bromley, DT Thomas, DT Tomlinson, LB Goodson, FS D. Thompson, CB M. Hunter, CB M. Thompson, FS Adams, CB Apple, etc., all step up BIG this year, take that YOUTHFUL leap we will not only be a deep defense but we can be one with virtually no MAJOR holes to attack. You can't run, you can't go deep, you can't throw short consistently either.
Best overall defense in the NFL if we stay healthy.
...with Tomlinson cutting his teeth it's no surprise to me he's in the mix to start. That said all those guys will get significant snaps and that includes Thomas as well. It's a rotational position.

A solid rotation opposite Snacks - and look out NFL
I dont think this a contradiction -- the problem with Fluker is his lateral movement -- but if he gets his hands on the opposition he is a total bull
