And here we go again. Looking to get people together to do an online franchise. I know of several people and what teams they want to use, but I'm getting our page started.
count me in back in not sure what team I want yet but I know I want to get put in the same division as Bad intel so we get more games in with each other.
It's almost tempting to try to get everyone into one conference so we don't have the usual 2-4 players in the NFC by themselves waiting until the playoffs to play anybody.
it not a bad idea especially for the real active players who we can count on being around to play there games. I could see putting the new people who are not full committed over on the side almost like a audition.
It's 2 games per week (Sun-Wed and Wed-Sat). Sim style and there's a spectrum of players but most are above average. It's a combo of BBI people and some other people.
It's a lot of fun and doesn't take too much time with o my playing two games per week. Comp games are quick and if need be can be sinned and most people here are easy to plan games with.
Though I'd like to stick with my Giants they are pretty highly rated and thus not likely a good idea for me to be. Right now I'm looking at one of the weaker teams and will likely end up taking the bears but will try out a bunch of teams when it comes out.
The conference stacking would be fine with me but two major drawbacks. 1. The super bowl would be pointless against a comp and the biggest game should be fun. 2. It's tough to find enough teams to interest people in one conference. I'd vote NFC if we go conference.

Hey True, been playing in the league for a few years now.
We do play head-to-head in our human games. I.e. If you're the Giants and you play the cowboys and there is a cowboys owner you two will work out a time to play and get your game in. If you are playing a team controlled by the CPU, you can play it at any point.
We play two games a week to keep the level of interest up. Often people get their games in quickly and we want to be able to keep the league moving and avoid any luls
Good players are people who run sim style offenses, i.e. People knowledgeable of the sport. If you are beating the CPU that amount on all madden, you should do just fine.
If you're playing mostly on All Madden then you should be fine. We play sim style (so punts on 4th down, kicking field goals where appropriate, etc). We generally don't run into problems with people being dicks. It's just like playing an offline franchise (drafts and everything) but people will control some of the teams.
if you have any friends or family interested in playing let them know the more human players the better and we can stack you all in the same Division if you want.
I am going to call the Carolina panthers at this point since it looks like most are going to play in the NFC this year
for some of the new strategy stuff they supposedly put in to help micro manage your defense. At least that is how I am interpreting some stuff I've read.
Also, the goal is to start the franchise after the usual post-preseason roster update (as usual).
Take whatever team you want, we don't stick to one division. People bounce around from team to team every new madden edition. Some of us stay with our favorites.
Don't let these guys scare you. I have had a good run the last few maddens but generally all my games are close. Never blow anyone out. I have been fortunate to be on the right side of the close ones recently.
Busy and haven't checked the board much. I'm going back to my Jets regardless how much they will suck. I will miss significant amount of time as well during the first season. 4-18 Sept the 25 october-17 November I will be in Norway unable to play. After that I should be home for the foreseeable future

Graphics are improved with frostbite. Running game is more advanced and timing based. The Longshot mode is intriguing, more time spent watching so far, only about 40% through it. Should be a good season.
a couple of MUT ranked drafts tournaments won both I was in it sucks that they don't give you more tickets when you win them instead you have to buy more in the past if you won you got your tickets back so you can do more events.
Gameplay is good but I can tell you guys who like to pass and get creative on offense will be hard to stop on defense. Case in point you go with a 5 WR set you will eat up a defender in a base set of the 3-4 but if the Defender goes to a quarters defense on offense all you do is audible to a Draw play and you will gash him for 10+ yards and if you see the defense audible out of it then put your WRs on Streaks and one of the 4 will be wide open. A guy like Mik9999 who loves to learn the small quirks of the game will eat us alive with it.
Also Speed seems to be reduce so that faster players are a little less important as other skills which may be a nice change of pace since a Human can control a super fast player with no skill but turn him into a monster.

We play very straight up football by not running up the score, not going for it on 4th downs unless it is close in the 4th, and no cpu trading. Welcome to the league.

I always do could because it saves it online but simming through every week is quicker. It takes seconds instead of minutes. Plus online allows you to play on another system when using your gamertag.

It's regular rosters. I always wait for the final preseason roster update so we have accurate post training camp rosters.
The rules are just basically sim style. Play the game like you would see it on Sunday. Punting on 4th downs when appropriate (which is most 4th downs), no nano blitzes, etc. We also try to stagger first shot at the Free Agent pool when we start up so the "bad teams" get to even the score a bit.

I saw your message and messaged you back. I'll send an invite tonight after I get home from work (just not sure if it'll before or after the Chargers game). I will advance the league to preseason week 2 tonight. Goal is to start the regular season on Wednesday night so make sure your roster is down to 52 players before then.
For all the new people, the schedule is generally that we will advance on Wednesday and Saturday nights. You have the time in between to get your game in so it is always beneficial to look ahead to see if you play a person so you can coordinate a time to play.
Is the group messenger app for your phone that some leagues use for league interaction. You can post the schedule, DM the person you play, post league rules and upcoming events. There is also a calendar feature. You can also change your name to the team you play with so everyone knows who they are playing. It is used for a league I play in and its a great fit that keeps users plugged in to the league. I took the liberty of creating one for our league to beta it if you guys would like. It was one of the most crazy games you could ever watch. It had a little bit of everything. to include a illegal touching penalty on a TD pass, a blocked FG, crazy fumbles, ball carries falling down on the 1 but given a touchdown with no time left.
To sum it up the dolphins were down by 14 with 35 seconds left on there own 40 yard line I was about to give up and pass to a guy on a slant to see how well it works on deep coverage for future games when I saw a guys streaking with a few steps on his CB so after a bomb for a completion Miami was stopped on the 1 so had to use a timeout and was able to score the next play with no time left I went for and got the on sides and somehow it was recovered with only a few seconds left so I throw a hail mary into the end zone and the colts where called for pass interference with the ball on the 1 with no time I attempt a Qb sneak but he falls straight down thinking the game was over I throw the remote but he is given credit for TD.
I see what has happen and I am scrambling to find the batteries that flew out of the controller to kick the extra point while Bolts wants to challenge the call but cant because it was under 2 mins.
In overtime I slowly drive the ball to his 10 yard line and kick a FG with only 18 seconds left on the clock and with no time outs he throws to quick outs with his WRs breaking game ending tackles trying to get out of bounds and with no time left he kicks a 57 yard FG to tie the game back up.
The game was close for the most part but in no way should this game ended in a tie for me everything that could possible go right for me did. Maybe it was a makeup for the last playoff game that we played in which I had a epic meltdown in the 4th. Anyways I am sure he is looking forward to the rematch.
Played the new Bucs guy last night. Looks like we have another solid league member. Good player, game was back and forth the whole way. Really enjoyed it. Took a game winning td pass with like 15 seconds left for me to get the W

For example, after week 2 I fired up a new franchise, created a custom coach to replace McAdoo, cut Ereck Flowers and John Jerry, promoted both Webb and Gallman to starters to develop them (they seem to develop really well), and featured the shit out of Engram in my offense. I then had my first draft and took a plethora of OL and LB'ers, something the real life Giants would never, ever do (though I didn't get the last laugh -- none of the rookies were really all that good). I then traded Eli to get the Jets' 2019 2nd and 5th round picks.
BTW, Gallman really does seem to be good in the game. His truck move is very effective, almost glitchingly so in some of my runs.

I initially thought that this year as well, prior to the season starting: "What?? Why are the Giants as a team only rated at 83? Why are their best players outside of Beckham and Collins so poorly-rated?"

I hear ya on the schedule thing. A good thing about this league is what you're able to learn from other players in h2h. If you ever get some free time, we do around 2 games a week.
Is simply that I'm still getting used to the PS4 controller. I can't control my player (especially my running back or defenders) with the precision that would be useful in so many situations.
I've got an XBox controller for my PC and I feel that its stick is much more precise. The PS4 stick seems to be longer, making short and precise movement a bit trickier.

Usually there is the one we are all chasing but this year it has balanced out

I agree, the CPU seems to have been getting more breaks to keep it close instead of blow outs

I haven't noticed it that bad. To me it the drops are more realistic as to when the reciever gets hit and if the DB got hands inside before the catch. Also those who have drop issues in real.life it translates into game.
I don't see it either drops happen mainly when the WR is getting hit by the DB in the game so its more realistic and if they didn't have that in the game there would be no stopping offenses in the game.
On a side note in the gameplay slider you can adjust Catching and increase it if you want fewer drops anyways so that should be a non factor for you to get the game.
I advanced the league last night. Only 3 regular season weeks left and then the playoffs. The draft will take place after Thanksgiving so that we have ample time for FA, final scouting, and for Intel to get back and be present.

Looks interesting. I always enjoyed the college football games because I felt you had more control over the team, especially in recruiting and setting your schedule.

It’s more a matter of skill than CPU chance. Drops happen, but they happen in real life too, there’s some glitches, I just had someone run through a tackle, but that’s still no reason not to buy the game. You should play online with us - it’s fun.
I know some of the guys in the league are in the military or have served. Thank you guys for your service and sacrifice. Without your sacrifice we have no freedom.

My guess is they have it more realistic. Jordan Reed got injured for me and was out a few weeks and then first game back he goes down for the season. However I will agree that in game injuries are down this season, maybe it was a complaint from people and they adjusted it.
We'll be doing the draft sometime next week. I'm heading out of town for the holiday tomorrow so I will make Adder a commish so he can advance the playoffs as people (hopefully) play through and finish it over the holiday. Then we can start FA when I come back next Monday and do the draft late next week.

I agree the tactical game play is addictive and can say that a few battles I have been in have been the most fun I have had in a video game in a long time. I really hope they are able to optimize the frame rate and remove some of the glitches and I can see myself playing this game a long time

How would people feel about opening up 1ST ROUND pick trades with the CPU? What I mean is, say there is 12 of us in the league, further say we finish 20th through 32nd. The team who finishes 20th can trade with the CPU team who has the first pic. They would have to include their first pick and whatever er players it takes to get the CPU first pic. No players from the CPU team can be part of the trade. Then the team who finished 21st could trade for the 2nd pick and so on and so forth. If the 20th place team doesn't trade for the first pick, no other team can trade for it.
I think this will get some of the young stud rookies on to player teams so they don't go to waste.. Just an idea

How would people feel about opening up 1ST ROUND pick trades with the CPU? What I mean is, say there is 12 of us in the league, further say we finish 20th through 32nd. The team who finishes 20th can trade with the CPU team who has the first pic. They would have to include their first pick and whatever er players it takes to get the CPU first pic. No players from the CPU team can be part of the trade. Then the team who finished 21st could trade for the 2nd pick and so on and so forth. If the 20th place team doesn't trade for the first pick, no other team can trade for it.
I think this will get some of the young stud rookies on to player teams so they don't go to waste.. Just an idea

Are you serious about this? I’m surprised he’d give a crap considering the way he played against me. This guys was in hurry up early 1st quarter and hit sticking up 21 late in the 4th. I play head to head in the pits all the time so it’s not like he hurt my tender Madden pride but I didn’t think it was that kind of league. What a wuss.
Trueblue - that is what happened. He was never good at losing and had it in his head that our rules say you can never go for it on 4th. I elected to take a gamble on 4th and 1 on my 30 with less than 2 minutes to go. I converted it to win and he got butthurt and quit the game and the league.
Intel/JT - check your other formations. I couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t find my 5 wide formations in my custom playbook for the past season and just realized it was because they were part of the Hail Mary formations. Go figure.
So after so tinkering around I found out if you delete all the plays from a formation from the original playbook you use, that formation won't so up in your playbook.. Sorry for the multiple restarts but I have been trying to figure this out.

Kept having small injuries so I had to spend xp to raise his inj rating which is 99 now. He will probably lead. Y team is rushing as well. My other rookies are doing OK. Still haven't found a playbook I like
Are ridiculous. It's to the point where it's making the game annoying. At one time against the Patriots my whole starting line was out. My top three FAs this off are all injured. My rookie Qb despite a 99 injury rating gets hurt every game for a quarter or so. It isn't realistic or even if it is, it's annoying
I still can’t figure out who my number 1 pick is and if the cpu drafted me an impact player I haven’t found him. As far as injuries, for the past 5 games I’ve lost my top rated player for at least 4 weeks. The other thing that’s been killing me is fumbles. I’ve lost a few game changer even when I was covering up. I fucking suck and this has been a cursed season so I’m glad others hurting too.
When we played our game I lost 3 OL when I was already missing my starting LT. I played the 2nd half with a 60 overall 3rd string LT and a backup RT playing C. I was shocked I ever had any time to throw or run the ball.
Injuries there has been no changed its sitting at 50 just like all the other modifiers it must be just a bad couple of weeks since i have only lost one player these past two weeks
To moving that slider for less injuries. One of the best parts of franchise is developing players. With the amount of injuries and their frequency, it's hard to do.
On a side note, trade deadline is approaching and still have several players I'm willing to move

To figure out a fair way to let everyone have a shit at who they wanted to grab. Set a time when you open up CPU trading so people know to be online and try to swing it. I still like my idea of how to trade up for draft picks
Trading for players it should be for only 1 week in the league (i.e. week 7 only). Draft picks from CPU would definitely be off limits, but we can use our picks to trade away.
I would set a limit to amount of trades that can be done, like 3 is my input. It still allows us to get better and create some intrigue but also not take everyone from the CPU.
If we decide to do this, we need to make sure it's limited and only happens once so we don't have constant pilfering of cpu teams. I also agree with Intel that it should be at a set time so everybody has a fair shot.

That's why I feel like if we do it for a Sim week with 3 trades max work best for everyone's schedule.

Will not take Peterson back for anything remotely reasonable. I tried Peterson brooks and Forte just for Carpenter back and they won't do it. Can the commissary manually rearrange teams or force trade?

We really need to look at the injury slider. I know it hasn't moved and whatever but I lost fournette who I just traded for, until next season. Injuries do not help anything and add zero value to the game. If some of you like still want them on, that's fine but move the alder at least 2/3rd of the way or vent to 3/4 mark
I would agree about moving the sliders down on injuries a bit. Our game was a bloodbath of injuries even if a lot of them were temporary or just for the game. We both lost players we just traded for for an extended period of time.

They need to overhaul it and I think they need to add in random suspensions to make it more legit
On Redskins trade for Smith. As a avid Redskins fan I think they gave up to much for a 34 year old QB. Reports say it is Fuller and a 3rd round pick. Fuller was the best slot corner this year according to PFF ratings. Smith played well but he knew that system and now he has to learn a new one. Redskins fans are pissed and rightfully so since Cousins performed without a top receiver and yes he does choke in big games at times but you can't let him go for nothing.
I thought it was an interesting move when the news first broke, but then thought it was an awful move just to try and save $20 million once I saw what they traded and signed Smith to.
Cousins should go to the Browns. They could draft Saquon and Fitzpatrick, which would get Thomas to come back. They would then have the cap space to still sign more players and they would be the 2nd best team in the division behind the Steelers.

I'm a Chargers fan, so I've seen plenty of Smith these last several years. He's a solid starter who is what he is. He won't lose you many games, but he's also not elite (to me). KC has had a lot of offensive talent and whether because of Smith (or Reid not being a great playoff coach), they never got over the hump. He's now going to a team that has way less overall talent on offense and he's 34 years old. I do not see this ending well for anybody.

In the upcoming draft if anyone wants to wheel and deal. On a side not I have been playing franchise by myself a lot lately and it's actually pretty fun. I inky play key moments and sim some games entirely if I think I will win them. The drafting is fun as well as the trading. Plus building a team that the CPU can win with vs what we normally play is actually challenging.

No I have a long way to go. The South Park games got in the way because they're fun and pretty easy and quick to get through. Still need to finish The Fractured But Whole. And with PUBG and the new DLC season for Rainbow 6 there's just been a lot to play. I do want to finish AC though because the DLC got good reviews. There's just so much out there right now.
The conference stacking would be fine with me but two major drawbacks. 1. The super bowl would be pointless against a comp and the biggest game should be fun. 2. It's tough to find enough teams to interest people in one conference. I'd vote NFC if we go conference.

Hey True, been playing in the league for a few years now.
We do play head-to-head in our human games. I.e. If you're the Giants and you play the cowboys and there is a cowboys owner you two will work out a time to play and get your game in. If you are playing a team controlled by the CPU, you can play it at any point.
We play two games a week to keep the level of interest up. Often people get their games in quickly and we want to be able to keep the league moving and avoid any luls
Good players are people who run sim style offenses, i.e. People knowledgeable of the sport. If you are beating the CPU that amount on all madden, you should do just fine.
Otherwise when the game comes out I will create the franchise and send you an invite and that's it.

Yes he took the Bears but they have a beast RB in Howard and he is a very run oriented offense. It will definitely be an interesting year.
It's pretty competitive, hardest opponent is Mike999999. Just start playing on all Madden with the cpu beefed up and you should be good

I like it, running the ball you cant just hit the speed button, have to pick your holes...i like it nothing crazy different
Gameplay is good but I can tell you guys who like to pass and get creative on offense will be hard to stop on defense. Case in point you go with a 5 WR set you will eat up a defender in a base set of the 3-4 but if the Defender goes to a quarters defense on offense all you do is audible to a Draw play and you will gash him for 10+ yards and if you see the defense audible out of it then put your WRs on Streaks and one of the 4 will be wide open. A guy like Mik9999 who loves to learn the small quirks of the game will eat us alive with it.
Also Speed seems to be reduce so that faster players are a little less important as other skills which may be a nice change of pace since a Human can control a super fast player with no skill but turn him into a monster.

We play very straight up football by not running up the score, not going for it on 4th downs unless it is close in the 4th, and no cpu trading. Welcome to the league.

I always do could because it saves it online but simming through every week is quicker. It takes seconds instead of minutes. Plus online allows you to play on another system when using your gamertag.

The rules are just basically sim style. Play the game like you would see it on Sunday. Punting on 4th downs when appropriate (which is most 4th downs), no nano blitzes, etc. We also try to stagger first shot at the Free Agent pool when we start up so the "bad teams" get to even the score a bit.

We are in preseason week one some people have played their games but most of the league has just signed in nothing has been advanced yet.
For all the new people, the schedule is generally that we will advance on Wednesday and Saturday nights. You have the time in between to get your game in so it is always beneficial to look ahead to see if you play a person so you can coordinate a time to play.

It was one of the most crazy games you could ever watch. It had a little bit of everything. to include a illegal touching penalty on a TD pass, a blocked FG, crazy fumbles, ball carries falling down on the 1 but given a touchdown with no time left.
To sum it up the dolphins were down by 14 with 35 seconds left on there own 40 yard line I was about to give up and pass to a guy on a slant to see how well it works on deep coverage for future games when I saw a guys streaking with a few steps on his CB so after a bomb for a completion Miami was stopped on the 1 so had to use a timeout and was able to score the next play with no time left I went for and got the on sides and somehow it was recovered with only a few seconds left so I throw a hail mary into the end zone and the colts where called for pass interference with the ball on the 1 with no time I attempt a Qb sneak but he falls straight down thinking the game was over I throw the remote but he is given credit for TD.
I see what has happen and I am scrambling to find the batteries that flew out of the controller to kick the extra point while Bolts wants to challenge the call but cant because it was under 2 mins.
In overtime I slowly drive the ball to his 10 yard line and kick a FG with only 18 seconds left on the clock and with no time outs he throws to quick outs with his WRs breaking game ending tackles trying to get out of bounds and with no time left he kicks a 57 yard FG to tie the game back up.
The game was close for the most part but in no way should this game ended in a tie for me everything that could possible go right for me did. Maybe it was a makeup for the last playoff game that we played in which I had a epic meltdown in the 4th. Anyways I am sure he is looking forward to the rematch.

That is the one nice thing about madden is doing things with the Giants that you know the organization will never do. However I am usually frustrated with the Giants in Madden in that the players seem to be under rated every year especially Manning even after wining super bowls he was never rated higher then 85.

Do you find playing a franchise as the Giants in Madden more fun when the real-life team is good, or bad?
I actually kind of prefer the latter -- it gives me some odd sense of control and retribution. For example, after week 2 I fired up a new franchise, created a custom coach to replace McAdoo, cut Ereck Flowers and John Jerry, promoted both Webb and Gallman to starters to develop them (they seem to develop really well), and featured the shit out of Engram in my offense. I then had my first draft and took a plethora of OL and LB'ers, something the real life Giants would never, ever do (though I didn't get the last laugh -- none of the rookies were really all that good). I then traded Eli to get the Jets' 2019 2nd and 5th round picks.
BTW, Gallman really does seem to be good in the game. His truck move is very effective, almost glitchingly so in some of my runs.

I initially thought that this year as well, prior to the season starting: "What?? Why are the Giants as a team only rated at 83? Why are their best players outside of Beckham and Collins so poorly-rated?"

I hear ya on the schedule thing. A good thing about this league is what you're able to learn from other players in h2h. If you ever get some free time, we do around 2 games a week.
I've got an XBox controller for my PC and I feel that its stick is much more precise. The PS4 stick seems to be longer, making short and precise movement a bit trickier.
hit the practice up if you aren't doing that. When i just use games as my way of getting reps i struggle, if i use the practice i'm more precise on my timing.

Sucking has never stopped Crick from playing lol. but its a fun league if you do find the time especially the offseason when the bidding wars start for FA and people stealing your picks in the draft.

Usually there is the one we are all chasing but this year it has balanced out

I haven't noticed it that bad. To me it the drops are more realistic as to when the reciever gets hit and if the DB got hands inside before the catch. Also those who have drop issues in real.life it translates into game.
On a side note in the gameplay slider you can adjust Catching and increase it if you want fewer drops anyways so that should be a non factor for you to get the game.

Looks interesting. I always enjoyed the college football games because I felt you had more control over the team, especially in recruiting and setting your schedule.

It’s more a matter of skill than CPU chance. Drops happen, but they happen in real life too, there’s some glitches, I just had someone run through a tackle, but that’s still no reason not to buy the game. You should play online with us - it’s fun.

I agree alone I can make the 10 ten almost every time. However I joined a few random teams and they were good guys but you get into major fights much earlier.

Yeah I've only done the one solo round and was in the top 25, but I would have made it a lot further if it weren't for some bad luck. I got into an extended firefight with one guy after running out of a red blast zone. The fight took so much ammo that I was basically out of everything but sniper ammo. But the shield had run past me so I had to high tail it to the circle while taking damage. I came up on a guy but couldn't drop him with my Kar98 so he dropped me with an M16 while I had no real health or ammo. Was a bummer, but just makes you want to jump right back in and play another one.

I agree the tactical game play is addictive and can say that a few battles I have been in have been the most fun I have had in a video game in a long time. I really hope they are able to optimize the frame rate and remove some of the glitches and I can see myself playing this game a long time

No players from the CPU team can be part of the trade. Then the team who finished 21st could trade for the 2nd pick and so on and so forth. If the 20th place team doesn't trade for the first pick, no other team can trade for it.

Cpu trading gets difficult to manage. I like the 1st round draft pick trading.

Are you serious about this? I’m surprised he’d give a crap considering the way he played against me. This guys was in hurry up early 1st quarter and hit sticking up 21 late in the 4th. I play head to head in the pits all the time so it’s not like he hurt my tender Madden pride but I didn’t think it was that kind of league. What a wuss.
Intel/JT - check your other formations. I couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t find my 5 wide formations in my custom playbook for the past season and just realized it was because they were part of the Hail Mary formations. Go figure.

I would set a limit to amount of trades that can be done, like 3 is my input. It still allows us to get better and create some intrigue but also not take everyone from the CPU.

I think CPU rookies should stay off limits.

If you are able to edit those players, put them at QB so they are low rating and redo the trade, might be the easiest way
We really need to look at the injury slider. I know it hasn't moved and whatever but I lost fournette who I just traded for, until next season. Injuries do not help anything and add zero value to the game. If some of you like still want them on, that's fine but move the alder at least 2/3rd of the way or vent to 3/4 mark
On aside note you can tell Colts needed a line since those are what he traded for.

They need to overhaul it and I think they need to add in random suspensions to make it more legit
Cousins should go to the Browns. They could draft Saquon and Fitzpatrick, which would get Thomas to come back. They would then have the cap space to still sign more players and they would be the 2nd best team in the division behind the Steelers.
I think we Giants fans tended to underrate Cousins. I like his fire and it seems to me like the players around him like him as well. Some folks mentioned that Washington coaches didn’t have faith in Cousins decisions with the football and that’s why he’s being replaced by Smith. Maybe he didn’t make the right reads? As far as Smith goes, I’ve never been a huge fan but he makes plays out of the pocket and you can’t deny his success with KC. He had a lot of pieces around him in KC. At the end of the season a lot KC fans were killing Smith for not making the right decisions with the football. I’m obviously highly biased, but I’m not convinced that Smith is your final piece to the Championship puzzle.

I'm a Chargers fan, so I've seen plenty of Smith these last several years. He's a solid starter who is what he is. He won't lose you many games, but he's also not elite (to me). KC has had a lot of offensive talent and whether because of Smith (or Reid not being a great playoff coach), they never got over the hump. He's now going to a team that has way less overall talent on offense and he's 34 years old. I do not see this ending well for anybody.
Jets would be intriguing but I believe it is Broncos lead, if Jimmy G doesn't resign with 49ers for whatever reason, they will be a close 2nd. Elways wants a proved QB like he did with Manning.
