got to meet and sit down with him and talk for about 30-45 minutes. Great guy, extremely funny, very knowledgeable. Some great insights into Bellichek.

I've always felt a bit bad for Byron Hunt and Andy Headen

They could have started for almost any team in the league other than the Giants. When you consider the LB corps as a whole, including those two guys, there isn't a doubt in my mind that the Giants LBs of the mid '80s were the best and deepest group in league history.
Somebody should ask him why he

He's not. From left to right: Pepper, LT, Carson, Reasons, Banks, Robbie Jones, Andy Headen.

Agreed - although BH did see significant playing time - he would have started for just about any other team except maybe the Saints. IIRC, Andy Headen (another great player) was forced to retire early because of genetic defect of the spine or neck(?). I think I remember reading an interview with Bill Parcells where Parcells said it was one of the toughest meetings/conversations he ever had with a player.

helped seal the deal in '81 in the last game of the season against the Cowboys.

Thanks, BH. You brought us back.

Oh Yeah!! You beat me to it ...I can still picture that INT in my head great play and just a great feeling after all those years without a playoff appearance.
