really moves well especially within the pocket, Clay Matthews had a free shot at Wentz and whiffed, Hollins the rookie from UNC catches and runs for a 37 yard TD
the Giants deserve as much criticism as some on here give them. But comparing them or anyone to the Pats..and yes I know we beat them twice.
Yeah I get it. And I'm not comparing the Giants to the Pats either, that's ludicrous. But the Pats aren't immune to criticism either. Giants fans want to fire the GM because they just cut a 5th round pick, I don't think it's out of line to point to the fact that the most successful team on the planet also makes bad picks. And many more bad picks than some may think. They get a pass on everything because of Brady and Belichek, but they have missed on a TON of picks recently. That's the only point.
Oh, and two championships in ten years (not 15) isn't too shabby either, btw.
But Washington's offense looks atrocious without Jackson and Garcon. Atrocious.
I think it'll be a 6-10 type season for Washington, even with Cousins playing for that big Niners contract. There just is not much talent on that roster and the coach blows.
The Skins loss in week 3 (one might say the Bobby Rainey game) was definitely the worst of the season. Would be great to sweep them in 2017.

For sure. You could make an argument they should make the playoffs more than they do, though.
(and even then I'm unsure), it's fair to say the Bears have never had a great QB play for them. Ever.
It's really an astounding consideration given what a bedrock NFL franchise they are.
I find it hard to hate them for some reason, so I hope Trubisky is the goods. If only to put an end to the Packers making the playoffs virtually every damn year.
Every single Bears team in my lifetime that was good was because they had a great defense. It's true that they've really never had great QB play. They had some decent stretches from a few different guys but both Super Bowl appearances were on the heels of their defenses. McMahon wasn't a great QB and the other was Grossman.
I don't know anything about guys they had in the 30's or 40's like Luckman or Masterson but I'm guessing those guys were never really considered great QB's, either.
They deserve a good QB - I have nothing against the Bears.

Hopefully we have a stretch here where the Giants make the playoffs for 4-straight years. That would give this Eli regime a good overall regular season record when all is said n done and wash away the rebuilding years.
He is basically Ereck Flowers. That was his comparison, anyway. I haven't followed him at all this preseason so I don't know what he's done or how he's played, but if it works out, good for them. Right now Engram certainly seems to be a smart pick and at a strong need position too.
but Trubisky vs Glennon doesn't even seem close. Glennon struggles to move/make basic throws and Trubisky looked sharp out there. I'd throw him into the fire week 1 and let him grow. Glennon sucks.
Ravens bringing in some big boddies for blocking here come Larry Donnell.
LOL
Genius pick.
Genius pick.
And the Pats have won 5 SBs in 15 years. Kind of outweighs a bad pick.

Pats former 2nd rd player Cyrus Jones is not playing well and may not make the team.

And the Giants have won two, but they don't get any slack.

5 is just a wee bit more than 2.

Pats have had lots of bad picks early. Thing is, they acquire more by trading down so much.

They also make the playoffs every year and win quite a bit of championships.
Genius pick.
Is he having a bad camp? Or is he just playing poorly tonight? Or both?

Ah, but with this Jones pick we enjoy the last laugh!

What if Evan Engram becomes one of the most dynamic playmaking TE's in the league?
