in PP. He is definitely more nimble out there. Moving really well, establishing a solid base and locking up. You can already see the improvement in his feet.

Good on Carl Banks for noticing the same thing I saw.
making TJ Watt look like his brother. Not sure whether poor OL play is a lack of talent, or more likely miscommunications about blocking schemes. But wow, some of it is very poor.
yeah the O-line blows but this guy is not getting into a regular season game unless 3 guys in front of him go to the hospital. Lets stop wasting our time with him so we can see Geno and Webb
That fumble coming after DD took more than 3 steps, and the tTD coming when Dobbs had a clean pocket.
One guy each series major screws up on a rotating basis on the Giants, another team tradition; hold- offside-fumble-drop...anything to help the opponent.
has looked good. I agree that he should get a chance on PR. He and Powe played better than Lewis.
Maybe the 5th CB isn't even on the roster. M. Thompson is gone. Deayon and Blake don't seem like viable candidates either. Blake had the INT, but it was not contested.
Lots of miscommunications on the OL, especially picking up stunts and blitzes. Flowers looked good.
Defense was excellent. Bromley, Tomlinson, and Wynn all played well.
Int was a gift. He's been shit. Still would rather DD as a 5th CB but it may come down to specials and DD while I don't think lost his PR duties, but it doesn't bode well to be dropping a punt at the end of the half (TD after added insult to injury).
Both backup Qbs suck. Put a suit of armor on Eli because if these two clowns have to play a regular season game the team is sunk.
Go sign Branden Albert. The first team OL gives up two sacks. Can't convert third and 1. Except for the 7 yard run on the first play did nothing on the ground.
Landon Collins - best defensive player on an excellent defense.
Kerry Wynn - Good first half.
Good play early from Bromley. With Bromley and Tomlinson will they even miss Hankins?
This tall guy, Taylor. He doesn't look like a defensive lineman, but he was active other than the interception.
will be the last thing to come together. You don't watch the first preseason game and shit because the OL is off. The D always has the advantage as the OL still has to get all it's calls, assignments, and protections figured out.
definitely. he looks pretty damn good. keeps his eyes downfield. reads pretty well. adams also looks pretty damn good...i think tye is odd man out at TE and i like him

Pretty tough on Geno. He's been very acceptable.
Gets sacked. Missed an open Engram because he threw the ball away. Threw an interception, even though it was negated by a penalty. He looks better than Johnson, but that's like saying garbage is acceptable because it doesn't smell as bad as shit.

INT was certainly a negative, but he got sacked by an unblocked blitzer. So would Eli. That's not on him. He's shown on multiple plays tonight that he's smart enough to throw it away.
RE: How many TE's are giants carrying on 53 man roster?
Could it be 4? Ellison, Adams, Lacosse , engram, and .....
Yeah, I think so. They may opt to go without a FB again and just have a TE line up in the backfield. Plus, Engram is not a traditional TE anyway. He's a weapon. A hybrid WR/TE.

Yup. Great pass to a wide open linebacker.
Manning will make that same mistake at least twice this year... That looked all about miscommunication.
Stupid NFL won't let you cast a game from Game Pass on a phone to a TV. WTF? Why the hell not? If you're paying for Game Pass what the hell difference does it make?
Guys have played since they were 8 years old. All the mental stuff is done in the class room and not out on the field. They are all in terrific shape. It's the era we play in. Preserve the body
Different era. It's astounding that these guys can get ready with so few reps and rookies can get developed like this.
But other teams must be doing the same.
We will see who is ready to play after the first few games of the season. I am not getting concerned about what I am seeing from these guys in the second half of this game. What did bother me was how we still could not run the ball with our first team OL in the game.
On Gamepass, but it is it as possible to watch as it keeps freezing up then goes jumps around in time. (goes from 7 min left in game to 10 left in game). NFL sucks.
is not gonna make it. Neither is Josh Johnson or Nat (The Fizzle) Berhe.
I think Rudolph's had a nice game. I could see him making the team as the last WR. I think the Giants may prefer Lewis Jr., Harris and Powe more though, but it does seem like they like Rudolph, as do I.
Punter was doing a good job of height and distance. We double the gunner and they are still not slowing them down. He doesn't bobble the ball. I wouldn't be too quick to judge.
Somehow always look the same in preseason. The o-line always seems like a jailbreak as the game goes on. We can't run the ball at all and we never have any room on returns. The first string defense was lights out but let's temper the enthusiasm considering what they were going up against. Best thing is that no one appears to have gotten hurt. I'll take it!

Money for NFL channel on Direct TV to watch Giants and then the pull that crap with going elsewhere, like KC vs San Francisco, which is on CBS.

I have Verizon to permitme to get FOX out of Baltimore. I have gone as far as I can including asking the Pres. of Verison, why I can't receive Baltimore channels since I live in Md. I was informed that I live in Montgomery County which is close to DC, therefore I must get only DC channels.I pay taxes to MD, however, I cannot receive any channels from MD.
SteveMD
What does that mean? Setup for what?
I have to think if they felt he wasn't ready then he would not play whatsoever. It would be irresponsible to do anything less.
The.
FUCK.
Solid form, nervous looking however.
Sure he's probly awesome with the clip board, but Geno has tools.
WR got pushed back about 7 yards. That was ugly from him. They're trying to combo the NT and got smoked.
Yeah! He needs to get used to dirty pockets.
-Ben
He might make another leap
That's a great way to get your starting OT hurt. No player is ready to go the entire game.
It almost looked like it was going to be a pass to... Flowers in the flat.
I'm generally in the "it's only preseason, don't worry" camp...but it would be great to see some signs at least
Dobbs looks like a QB who has never played in the NFL before (like you would expect)
Looks to me like it did
; )

Yea like trubisky Watson and kizer. Doesn't mean he won't be good but he looks terrible in there
Shhh! There are dirty pockets everywhere.
It's not suppose to be pretty and the score doesn't matter?
It's not suppose to be pretty and the score doesn't matter?
Yes. Starting OLine is in.
Good on Carl Banks for noticing the same thing I saw.
That was an excellent series for Flowers.
him out .
Rosas with his first NFL kick, a FG
Agree. Flowers so far has really done ok. Sack was not on him.
Jay Bromley playing well.
a tad late .
He had open WR's if he worked through his progressions
He's like a fuckin missile out there. Kill everything.

Take what you can get from this guy.
Holly Molly that was terrible from our backup tackles.
Nothing he drops a lot of balls
Figured he would be. Good pick
He showed enough to keep around, and certainly played better than this when he got in games. Nobody would care if he didn't make it.
Game is meaningless, I can root for a Badger LOL.
Unfortunately the Badgers lost the next LB to be drafted in a camp injury (Cichy)
Pouring now.

What about Moss?
He's playing against backups.
And he's always been a good run defender. I feel like he's had plenty of opportunity against starters to know he's a good quality backup, not more.
The Jets are a shelter!
hahahahaahhah
Nice end around by Rudolph.
He confused Jordan with Ryan
Tempo much better. Heightened crispness.
Meant tradition OF jumping TEs
I'm gonna keep comin back...until somebody remembahs seein Richie!
And to be healthy
Yeah, it's a weird fit.
Miscommunication on the OL.
Second teams.
I like Powe too .I hope they keep him
Miscommunication on the OL.
HAHA. I said it twice.
Sure 18 to 17!
Trent Murphy with a torn ACL.
Harris Allday for PR 2017
They all sucked up and got burnt .
He can clean out his locker along with Johnson after the game is over
geno looks far better than johnson. reads field much better
was wide open but he cuts to the inside
So good plays by Bromley, Wynn, Vernon...
One guy each series major screws up on a rotating basis on the Giants, another team tradition; hold- offside-fumble-drop...anything to help the opponent.
Hunter is a lock for the 4th.
Lewis is much faster than Rudolph, but Rudolph plays within himself while Lewis is moving faster than he can play.
This made me laugh. But where was DT on that play?
i agree. they are treating it like a playoff game. this is a tryout/showcase
Lewis is much faster than Rudolph, but Rudolph plays within himself while Lewis is moving faster than he can play.
literally just said this lol
So good plays by Bromley, Wynn, Vernon...
collins may be one of the better defensive players in football and i felt strongly about him when we drafted him. the kid has great instincts
So good plays by Bromley, Wynn, Vernon...
Also Blake and Taylor with nice INTs, Rosas hitting kicks, long of 52, Goodson with nice sack.
Maybe the 5th CB isn't even on the roster. M. Thompson is gone. Deayon and Blake don't seem like viable candidates either. Blake had the INT, but it was not contested.

I really like Taylor. Yah think it'll be Okwara, Wynn, and Taylor as the back up DE's?
Yea, two poor plays, true. Looking for a silver lining, I suppose.
Good point, especially if Webb is considered the future.
He's also a Giant, playing special teams. It was clear he'd therefore make a mistake.

Defiantly. Looks like he expected Rudolph to run a short curl
engram played alot i think...def more than the other guys like perkins and the OL
You guys to? I live in NorCal and was wondering if they switched because of my location (Berkeley, CA).
I was enjoying Pitt/NY - it was close.
The Giants scheduled block is until 10PM. Then the Chiefs are to be broadcast. I am pissed off.

life saver thanks man

What, Chad Wheeler, Flowers replacement? He is having a terrible game.
Shit, none of the O-Linemen played well tonight. The Steelers have been wrecking havoc on the interior and outside all night.
OMG
HE IS TERRIBLE!!
It's one game. He has been getting rave reviews in camp so far and was even given a few first team reps this week but yeah let's give up on him.
Good looking out man, thanks!
Might not. Giants need to determine #2. We might not see Davis again this year.
I think Rudolph's had a nice game. I could see him making the team as the last WR. I think the Giants may prefer Lewis Jr., Harris and Powe more though, but it does seem like they like Rudolph, as do I.
Beck needs to stop trying to sound excited when he speaks. It sounds forced and annoying. Suzy Kolber used to do the same thing

Typical Kivorka post. Go back to rooting for the Cowboys. Last I checked, preseason had absolutely no bearing on playoffs.
Yep!
Relax ellipses. It's the first game of preseason. You're such a miserable fuck.
After the starters, my guess is they keep Jones, Fluker, and Bisnowaty.
5th CB may not be on the roster.
Powe is probably in the lead for the sixth WR, assuming they keep six.
Smith is definitely in the lead for the #2 QB.
