Issues with NFL Game Pass last night?

I have NFL Game Pass on my Roku. I've had it since last season. Replays stream fine. Live NFL Network shows stream fine.

But last night's game was atrocious. Sometimes it was in HD, but for the most part it was a "watery" low-res mess. And then the audio would get out of sync with the video.

I was watching on NFL Network on DirecTV, but I got frustrated when they started showing the Chiefs game. So, I switched to the Game Pass app on my Roku. But the game was unwatchable on NFL Game Pass last night.

Anyone else have issues watching live streams?

Fine from my phone and the picture was fine. When I tried to cast it from my phone to a new TV that I just got this week, I got an error message indicating the NFL does not allow casting, which pissed me off. Next time, I will access it from my laptop and will connect that to the TV with an HDMI cable.

roku last year took a while for it to works as well. not surprised

Could be internet, but MLB app works fine. The NFL needs to get their shit together.

went to Roku for replays. When I tried watching it on Roku last night it just kept saying it was over. This morning they had the tape loaded in and it worked fine, both regular and condensed versions.

Hate having to listen to the Steelers broadcast. Nothing worse than having opponent's sideline reporter interviewing a stars who barely/didn't even play about the season forcing fans to scramble to figure out who's on the field and where they're lined up.

I can tolerate a little of that with Giants sideline reports (Howard Cross) but not with the other team's.

Gamepass had problems last night.

They said so on nfl.com during the day. The replay on Gamepass today was the Steelers broadcast. It was difficult to follow the game from a Giants perspective with a bunch of Steeler homers calling it. I was looking for a way to synchronize the Giants radio broadcast with the game but I didn't find a way to do that.

Thanks for all the answers. Makes me more confident in watching future live games. Streaming lots of completed games this morning, and it's working fine.

Blame your internet service. Reboot the router / modem. If you're wireless then you can really blame the internet service. It's rarely the app or actual streaming service.
