That 2009 Charger game I thought they had them. I was there for that one, that one bum safety (Michael Johnson) left Webster out to dry on that last TD. I think thats #1 or #2 thing that pisses me off in football when the opposing team has the ball in their hands and they just leap, skip, and jump down the field without breaking a sweat.
Eli was fantastic against SD in 2005. I believe it was a MNF game. Doesn't get talked about much but it was one of his best games early in his career. Our defense got smoked that night so the loss certainly wasn't on his shoulders.

I don't think the Giants defense came within an arm reach or laid a hand on Tomlinson. I've never seen a game where one guy could do whatever the hell he wanted vs one defense in a game like that before.
I think he even threw for a TD (which seemed to work vs the Giants a bit) too
Yeah, to be fair, not many teams did back then - Tomlinson was one of a kind. But yeah, he rushed for nearly 200 yards that night and scored 3 times. He was incredible.
Terrell Thomas gets a pick & returns it to like the 2 yard line. However, we don't get a TD & instead settle for 3. SD won on a last second FG if I recall correctly. That was during our infamous collapse following a 5-0 start.

That was one of TC's most gutless calls ever. The whole playcalling after that INT... everybody knew our defense wouldn't hold.

Yeah, but Justin Tuck ran LdT down from behind. That was impressive.
It will bother me even more if Eli never beats Rivers.
It is funny that the two teams are his brother's and the one that traded him. We don't see them very often, though, so there aren't a lot of opportunities.

This. I appreciate the two rings under Coughlin but there were way too many games he gave away during his tenure with questionable end game decisions.

I remember that game. I was proud of Eli but the defense lost that game fairly early.

2005, Giants could’ve been about 14-2 or so. But the team had a lot of big fuck or failure to get big stops when needed at the end of games. The only real not close games were that Charger game and the Christmas eve game of 2005 against the Redskins. I remember that game very well too. 12 years ago! 12!!
I think the most annoying Giants game I’ve ever watched in my life was the Seattle loss in 2005. Pure torture watching that idiot miss all those kicks. Fuck Jay Feely.
penalty derailing an Eli comeback vs. Peyton. The Brandon Jacobs helmet game sucked. The team stunk up the joint. Typical Fewell defense in a dome vs. a good QB.
That Brandon Jacobs fucking helmet incident made me laugh way more than it should've. Only big BJ #27 could pull off something like having his helmet wind up in the 14th row, lol.
That fucking bullshit phantom Offensive Pass Interference on Tim Carter and the absolutely spineless playcalling by TC after the TT pick. Ungh. Still pisses me off.
Speaking of the Chargers, Traveling to Phoenix on the day of the game this year. Land at airport 50 minutes before kick off. How can I assure of getting someplace to watch the game out there?

I thought maybe it was a trick question...

Okay, thanks. Yes, I just remember it being a frustrating loss.

2010 away game in Detroit
And 2013 MNF "shitty game" ( I was there)
Made me like him even more!

I think that was the Monday nighter in '05
Quarterback Wins - ( New Window )
True, but Fran Tarkenton and Joe Montana have beaten all the teams in existence during their era
