I had heard some mentions by the beat writers that we might see some 3-4 looks this year. How do you think we'd deploy that. I'd imagine it would be Snacks at the Nose with Bromley and Tomlinson by his side, JPP and OV as OLB and Goodson and Kennard as ILB. I could see this working best against some of the real strong run offeses, especially in our division Dallas, Washington and Philly

the 'inside out five' line, bigs ('DT's) on the ends to contain in pocket and 3 outstanding rushers('DE's probably) each having a single gap to jump through 'play run on way to the QB' style ....for a while as well
Bromly [Tomlinson/JPP\Vernon] Harrison
or
Bromly [Kennard/JPP\Vernon] Harrison
or
Bromly [Wynn/JPP\Vernon] Harrison
Kennard Goodson
Apple DRC Collins Jenkins
Man up with these 3 corners and let Collins kill whoever ends up with the ball
Bingo
Vernon would be standing up.
the problem might be in the flats, RBs, TEs on routes, so additional safeties, 3 in total, and 3 corners in man, you get your counter TE player in a Safety
its predicated on the inside out thing, bigs keep everything in the middle, if your runner gets by the 3 interior dl players, you do have safety help.
ya think?

I like the 5 line with 6 defensive backs.

Having no LB's will get exploited by TE's and runs up the middle. If you saw the Colts game several years ago, they put on a clinic on how you school a team that vacates the middle.
An absolute horrible idea that I'm not even sure would be a good idea to do situationally.
