Offseason is really just leading to more drama during the season. Tavares and arena both still in limbo. The team is talented enough to be good (maybe even contend) and theyplayed as good as anyone outside of WSH after Weight took over, but the Metro is going to be rough and there's little room for error.

Toronto has at least 3 contending teams (Pitt, Nash and NYR) in need of a third line center and the cap space to bring in Bozak. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good - they don't have to dump him to get under their cap.
