NFT: Mets Vs. Yankees Part 2: DeGrom vs. Gray

After a come from behind win for the Yankees, we have a great pitching matchup tonight.

I will be in attendance in my Doc Gooden METS jersey tonight to watch the DeGrom take the mound. This may be a bit hyperbolic, but tonight DeGrom takes the mound with all of Mets nation on his shoulders. This season has been a DISASTER. What was thought to be a World Series year has turned into a nightmare. What was thought to be a Mets town has gone quickly back to the Yankees. Tonight DeGrom can fill us Mets fans with a sense of pride in taking the mound and DEGROMINATING the Yankees from pitch 1. Enough of ALL RISE!...Enough of Gary Sanchize!..Enough of feeling like second class citizens. THIS IS OUR CITY TONIGHT!! LETSSSS GOOOO!!!!

Yankees pitchers and the numerous waste pitches they make. Nobody is efficient. It is ok to try to get someone to swing at a ball, but make it close or they won't swing.

Very efficient, gave up some hrs and Toe got two important hits. Yanks hit him hard a few times where the Mets made plays, but he was solid.

If Mo Vaughn doesn't hit an El Cheapo this game looks a lot worse.
