Giants sign ex-Skins/Eagles LB Steven Daniels

Drafted in 7th round by Skins in 2016. Missed rookie season with torn labrum. Cut by Skins in May, picked up by Eagles on waivers, and just released by Eagles.

The team still needs bodies at linebacker.

Daniels is probably just the latest to fill in until injured vets are cleared to play.

A run-stuffer with a bum shoulder seems like a bad combination. But he went to BC, so there's that.

Odds of JT Thomas actually getting PT, not just activation?

He was a real thumper at BC...

thought he would have a great shot to make it in NFL. But then he injured his should and missed his entire season. If healthy he has a shot to make the team as a depth LB/special teamer.

Who knows? If his knee is sound and they can work out the money, he's a useful player - at least on specials - and he's versatile. At the time they were both signed, Thomas figured to have a bigger impact than Casillas. Injuries are the great equalizer.
